I don't normally review too many products, but this one deserves it! Parents, this item is a MUST for your new baby. I know: that price tag is a little steep. But It is worth EVERY. FREAKING. PENNY. you spend on it. (Dont be fooled by the 'cheaper' versions out there --the ones that are like $50. Those only steralize and dry. They don't wash for you.) This Washes, steralizes, dries, and can even store and keep the bottles or pump parts sterile for 72 hours. We have used this thing for 4 months now and have ran it literally 24/7 and it has held up like a champ. It saves us SO much time and has allowed us to not have to constantly stand at the sink and handwash bottles and pump parts (who has time for this when you've got a little one who requires all of your attention). As a new parent, this has saved our sanity. I love that you are able to toggle the settings. You can run it on the full cycle: standard wash, steralize, and dry which takes 99 minutes. Or if you still feel like your drowning in pump parts and bottles (especially if you are strictly pumping and bottle feeding like us), you can turn off the drying cycle and have it just wash and steralize -- which takes 39 minutes -- and then put the parts on a drying rack to air dry while you run another load. The only real downside i would say it has is It does take up a bit of counter space as it's basically a mini dishwasher. But trust me, you won't care about that with how useful this item is. If you are a parent thinking about this, stop thinking and just buy it. You won't regret it. If you are someone looking at a baby registry asking " Is this really necessary?" It is 110% necessary. There's a lot of times parents look back at items they got their new baby and go "why did we even bother spending money on that?" -- I can promise you this is not one of those things. If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Heck, it would probably be the first thing I would buy.

This is the number one product that we recommend for new parents. Our baby arrived one month early and I can tell you that literally the only thing you need when you get home from the hospital with your baby is a bassinet - the hospital gives you everything else that you NEED. This machine is not a necessity for keeping baby alive but this is the top item to improve your quality of life. I had an emergency c section and it was basically my husband taking care of me and our slightly premature baby - this saved so much time so that we could focus on bonding as a family and resting. In the first two months, it’s also important to be sterilizing items too and this means you load it and in less than two hours you are ready to go. We recommend these to every set of friends that shares new pregnancy news and just love ours. Now that our daughter is six months old, we are less reliant on sterilizing bottles but it cleans them, pump parts, and teething toys so quickly. Sure, you don’t technically need this product but I can’t think of any other product that makes life with a baby so much easier from the day you bring them home, than this one. The tabs are not too expensive and this has been easy to keep clean. The cycles are short. Ours drains right into the sink and it takes up only slightly more square footage than a rice cooker. It’s easy enough to use that the grandparents also were able to run it.

Bought right after I went back from maternity leave and it was the best decision I made. Initially I thought I would use it to clean pump parts, but now I throw EVERYTHING baby related in it - bottles, pacifiers, forks, spoons, pump parts. I wish we would have had this when my son was under NICU precautions and we had to sterilize everything daily! It cleans incredibly well (better than our dishwasher) and has a large capacity. Grownsy has an amazing customer service. I accidentally threw away some of the bottle holding brackets and emailed them asking if there was a way I could purchase more. Even though it was 100% my fault for not having them, the company sent me new ones for free. I cannot recommend this product enough! When I’m home, I use it probably 3-4 times a day just to keep up with cleaning and it gives me more time with my son.

Funny that we thought we didn't need a product like this, but it has turned out to be a game-changer. We now tell all our expecting friends that this is a must-have and will, in general, make their lives much easier when it comes to baby bottle washing. It is compatible with Dr. Browns 4oz, 8oz (tall), and 9oz (wide) bottles and their parts. It does a good job cleaning, and also works to clean and sterilize pacifiers and other items. It is a well-constructed product. Be sure to check the size/fit for your countertop and that the drain hose has a place to drain the water.

I managed to get this on sale coupled with a gift card from a friend, so I didn't pay full price. That being said, I would pay full price for this marvelous little machine. I kept telling myself that this was a luxury and that I didn't need it and I would just hand-wash everything like I did with the last two babies...that was until I was exclusively pumping and was washing pump parts and bottles and all manner of little valves and flanges and membranes that would slip out of my hands and into the sink at 3 in the morning because past me obviously did not love future me enough to wash the dishes I would need ( 'T__T). So, I bit the bullet and bought this thing. It does take up counter space, but not really more than an ice machine or a crock pot would. You can't put it under anything because it lets steam out of the top during some of the cycle (and I mean a LOT of steam), so make sure you put it somewhere out of the way but clear of cabinets and close enough to the sink to run the drain hose. That sounds like a lot to deal with, and it can be frustrating to refill the tank sometimes (it says use distilled water...I use the filtered water from my fridge), but I mitigate that last bit by dropping a detergent pellet into the empty washer, refilling the tank immediately, and then as I put rinsed bottles and pump parts in throughout their usage I can start it up as soon as it's full. It takes 99 minutes to run a full standard wash, sterilize, and drying cycle (89 minutes for the fast cycle). However, when you set up a cycle, you can touch any of the portions (drying, sterilizing, washing, etc) to turn them off and that allows you to customize what you want it to do and how long it will take. Spoiler alert, the drying takes the longest so if you need to run another load right away just run the wash and sterilize and then hang everything on a bottle dryer or something. I'm excited to see it in use for a long time because it has diagrams in the booklet on how to easily fit toddler sippies and dishes into it. It will really make keeping little utensils and straws clean a breeze! Plus, the bottom portion is modular so you can have 4 bottle holders and 4 elongated pieces for nipples and the like OR you can take all of it out and have an open space for small plates and stuff.

This has changed my life. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it's pretty freaking awesome and convenient. A little background: we use Dr Brown bottles, 4 and 8 oz, spectra pump parts, and medela and hospital storage bottles (mostly the super tiny ones). We also use extra flanges. We run it anywhere from every other day to 2 times a day, mostly once a day. Let's get to the specifics. It has different modes, but the one we use most is the standard cleaning. It washes the bottles super quickly, and then sterilizes and dries. It takes a bit longer to dry, and then it sets to "fresh air" to avoid bacteria growing on the bottles, so you can leave it all night if you want. I love this feature for the peace of mind. I'd say it's pretty quiet, definitely won't wake the baby from the other room. The max you can wash at once is 8 bottles, which is awesome. You could also wash a combination of 4 bottles and one set of 2 full spectra pump parts. I typically throw the twisty-parts (I know, super technical language) into the main portion and the nipples into the top. The Dr Brown's bottle vent? pieces (the small, hard piece that goes between the straw and the twisty part) fit perfectly in the round spaces in the top portion, and so do flange inserts! I will say, the flange inserts typically have little splotches of residue left afterwards, but it doesn't really bother me too much personally. It definitely removes the coconut oil I use as lubricant for my pump parts though, which is a huge help! For larger loads, I use 2 of the washer tabs. Overall, I'd say this works really well once you figure out how to fit all the bottle pieces in properly. Great storage capacity, super durable, and very reliable. This saves us SO much time, and I genuinely recommend it if you can afford to splurge on it (or as a gift-- we got ours as a gift).

I've been using this bottle washer for about 10 months now, so I wanted to leave a long-term review. When I had my first baby, washing bottles by hand, sterilizing them in boiling water, and then drying everything on a rack every single day was exhausting. For my second baby, I planned to exclusively breastfeed, but unfortunately my milk supply never really came in (same thing happened with my first), so I ended up formula feeding again and started looking into bottle washers. I compared a few different brands. Honestly, most of them seemed to offer very similar features. Grownsy happened to be on a really good sale, so I decided to give it a try, and overall I'm glad I did. I use Dr. Brown's bottles, which have a lot of small parts. At first it took some trial and error to figure out the best way to arrange everything inside, but after a few loads it became second nature. For the first couple of weeks, I used the included detergent tablets. I would simply rinse out the leftover formula with water before loading the bottles, and the machine cleaned everything surprisingly well. The biggest benefit is convenience. Washing, sterilizing, and drying all happen in one machine, which saves a huge amount of time. Another feature I really appreciate is the storage function. It keeps the bottles dry and sterile for up to 72 hours by running the dryer periodically. I usually wash bottles at night, assemble them the next morning, and store them in my cabinet, but if you have a small kitchen, you could easily leave everything inside until you need it. It actually works well as extra storage space. Although there are only four bottle positions, I was often able to fit as many as eight bottles by arranging them carefully. If I packed it that full, I usually washed some of the caps or smaller accessories separately, but I still appreciated the larger capacity. The clean water goes into the tank on the back (I always use drinking water), and the dirty water drains out through the hose. I have mine connected directly to my kitchen sink, which makes it very convenient. The only issue I ran into started after I ordered more detergent tablets. After about two weeks, I began noticing a white residue left on the bottles. At first I thought there was something wrong with this machine, but after searching online I found that owners of other bottle washers have reported similar issues as well. I tried running cleaning cycles with vinegar as recommended, which helped somewhat but didn't completely solve the problem. Since my baby was only about two months old, I wasn't comfortable using bottles with any visible residue. At first I ran an extra rinse cycle with water (or a little vinegar), but timing it was inconvenient because the machine drains all of the water as soon as the wash cycle finishes. If you don't catch it right away, you have to refill the water tank. Eventually I found a routine that has worked really well for me. Now I quickly scrub the bottles with bottle soap before loading them, then let the machine handle the hot wash, sterilizing, and drying. Since switching to this routine, the bottles come out much cleaner, and I no longer use the detergent tablets. Would I prefer if the detergent tablets worked perfectly? Of course. But even with this extra step, this machine still saves me a lot of time compared to washing, sterilizing, and drying everything manually. I also use it regularly for baby spoons, pacifiers, and feeding accessories. Overall, I think most bottle washers on the market are pretty similar in terms of features. Since Grownsy frequently goes on sale, I think it's an excellent value if you can buy it at a discount. Even after 10 months, I'm still using it almost every day, and I don't regret buying it.
