How do you wire this to 1ohm? I have a 2ohm sub. Kicker Solo-Baric 44VLL7S122 12".** A: I looked up your sub and as it is a dual 4 ohm sub it is already wired in parallel (positive to positive and negative to negative) to give you a 2 ohm load. The only other way it can be wired is in series which would give you 8 ohms. It isn't possible to wire your sub to 1 ohm. The RMS (continuous) power rating of your sub is 750 watts. The best solution for you is to purchase a different amp that puts out 750 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. With that being said, this amp (which I own and it works quite well) will give you 650 watts at 2 ohms which in reality playing music will be adequate. I am currently running an older kicker L5 12" solo baric which is pretty similar to your sub, it just has a bit smaller magnet and is rated for 600 watts rms, and I rarely have to turn the bass knob up over 1/3 to get level of bass I'm wanting. Anything more and it simply overpowers my door speakers. Now, if you're competing in SPL or want to just max the sub out for whatever reason, I would definitely buy a more powerful amp that does about 1500 watts @ 2 ohms. I decided to purchase this AMP to replace my old kicker 750.1. It's only been a few days since I installed, but maaaaan, let me tell you something. This AMP IS LEGIT. For the cheap price, this AMP feels solid, well made, and definitely pushes out the power it says it does. I went on youtube and found a few videos of people testing it, and 1000W RMS rating was legit. Again, it's only been a few days, but I'm loving this AMP.
