It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play.It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen.Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes.Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space.
