The SpyderPro works well but it's not overly intuitive to use, so it takes a little time to figure out how some things work.The software basically uses the Spyder's hardware camera to sample your screen image and then adjusts the Video card settings in the PC directly to get it in calibrated according to the color standard you select. It also adjust contrast etc. and provides Specs on what your monitor can do and how well it stacks up to others.The Initial process before calibrating involves things like letting it sample the ambient light in the room and then putting it on the screen while you manually adjust the Brightness from 25% to 100% in increments.Once that is done the actual calibration process is automated and takes about 90 seconds.When it is finished calibrating you can switch back and forth between the original settings and the calibrated ones while looking at various sample photos they provide or ones that you add to your library.First thing to know on setup is that the Registration number is on the Inside of the bottom of the Box.The direct link for the software is on the side of the box in fine red print.There are tutorial videos on their website if you need helpThe finished settings are stored in a Profile file, so it seems like you can keep multiple color profiles and switch between them. Some like AdobeRGB with it's higher color range look slightly different than regular RGB.The software also allows you to pick common devices like specific Samsung or Apple model phones from a list and see how the Images on your PC will look like on those screens. This is a great feature for pro photographers and content providers.Overall it' is a nice very product, I just wish that it could also calibrate my OLED TV's.

Datacolor continúa mejorando sus herramientas, ofreciendo un buen hardware optimizado y App muy intuitivas, esto nos aporta que la calibración de pantallas sea accesible para todos los usuarios, sin que precisen de una experiencia elevada. El uso de este tipo de diposiivos se está empezando a usar más allá de los habituales, como son fotógrafos, diseñadores gráficos y especialistas en impresión o arte final, ahora también se dirige a los aficionados y creadores de contenido que comparten regularmente imágenes online, donde la precisión de color debe tomarse en cuenta también, mas aun cuando la salida de estos contenidos se ve en pantallas de todo tipo.Este nuevo SpyderPro 2024 ha sido mejorado para calibrar muchas pantallas, incluidas las últimas tecnologías OLED, mini-LED y Apple Liquid Retina XDR, en fin todas las actuales. Ich verdiene mir nebenbei seit einigen Jahren Geld auf Youtube hinzu. Mittlerweile wird es deutlich professioneller und ich bekomme Aufträge großer Firmen.Jahrelang war ich mit der Farbgenauigkeit meiner Videos total zufrieden. Und war im Glauben, dass meine Monitore die Farben korrekt wiedergaben. Doch dann habe ich die Kalibrierung gestartet, und die Ergebnisse haben mich zumindest überrascht. Die Farben, die ich zuvor als "normal" wahrgenommen hatte, waren nach der Anpassung auf einmal deutlich flacher, aber auch viel natürlicher.
