Sturdy - it takes pliers to insert the shelf clips
Good sturdy set. The shelf clips hold firmly in place - just be prepared to use a channel-lock pliers to compress the clip for insertion into the wall bracket. (Top in first, then compress until the lower tab slides into place.)

Brackets dimensions are 39.5" x 5/8" x 1/4"
Order arrived quickly. All eight (8) brackets are sturdy and appear of good quality. Bracket dimensions were measured to be 39.5" long, 5/8" wide, 1/4" deep. Snap on shelf clips (Knape & Vogt 256P-ZC Shelf Supports) fit well. I expect no problems with these brackets when I build my project. (Note: no screws were included with the brackets as shown in the product description. Not a big deal as each project will need specific sized screws or bolts.)

Look the product over carefully.
Quality control lacking on the items. Two pilasters were not punched for screws the full length. This can be corrected but should not need to be by consumer.

Easy to install and they fit nicely in my furniture pieces. Easy to function and made of sturdy metal.

Good product but not the advertised length
These are exactly what I was looking for and they were easy to install, they came with extra long screws. The quality looks good, they are straight and the holes are punched evenly. I bought 3/4" depth x 5/8" width shelf support clips and the fit was good. Literally, the only issue I have is that they measure at 39 1/4" long rather than the advertised 40" which is more than a metric to imperial rounding error. It wasn't material for my project but potential buyers should keep this in mind.

Work great
Bought these to install adjustable shelves inside my small narrow closet in my RV. They work great and were simple to install. I also like the 40" length.

They’re a good buy if you can work around the variables.
This review may sound like this isn’t a 3 star product but it is worth purchasing.The standards are 39 3/8”The width of the standard is 11/16 not the industry standard of 5/8 set by KV.The screws that are included are 1 1/8” in length so even if you’re surface mounting these to 3/4 material the screws are too long.The standards are of good quality steel.The KV 256 clips fit well.They are relatively symmetrical from both ends, if you mount one upside down it may still work.

Two new shelfs installed in RV
Ordered these to install a shelf in a new RV. Item seems to be made well and strong. I would have probably given it 5 stars, but I had to use channel locks to install the clip and was kind of hard reaching into a deep cabinet. So not the easiest to assemble with out tools
