It's only one piece but it covers most criss cross chairs out there.It's not water resistant as water still sips through.Still four stars cause my cat is not able to scratch it and feels very durable.

I bought a leather, wide-seated, chair and my cats immediately started digging their little claws into it. I have a leather patch kit but it just wasn’t cutting it and I needed a better long-term solution. This seat cover is great. I feel like a lot of seat covers look cheap, but not this one. The design on the cloth is a nice touch, and with a small throw blanket and an accent pillow, it all comes together to make your office chair look very classy.

These waterproof covers are exactly was I was looking for to protect my white leather dining chairs when my 3 young grandsons visit! Very easy to slip them down over the chair back and then continue on across the seat. The elastic stretches all around the bottom of the seat of these 1-piece covers and looks fine when you need to leave it exposed like I do versus tucked under due to legs. They're stretchy and fabric is comfortable to sit on.I ran one under water to test the waterproofing while unpacking them and the water bounced right off without leaving any ring or wet marks. (Note: it looks like only a few of the colors/patterns are noted as being waterproof... make sure to check the description for your pick.
