Columbia womens Joy Peak Ii Mid Jacket

I have to start with my wife loves her new Columbia Jacket. She over the color (Moonvista) and the size is consistent with what she expected. Beyond the initial fashionable appearance, one fo the best features is the inner jacket lining. The inside of the jacket has a foil-like heat shield appearance and it doesn’t just look good, it actually keeps the heat contained. My wife tends to get cold easily, but this jacket has removed her concerns of always being cold.Although it is summer, we took a recent trip to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado where the temperature was sub 40 once the sun went down. The Columbia jacket did its job and we are both happy with our decision.To my surprise, this Columbia jacket was able to exceed my expectations for a Columbia branded jacket. Based on my personal experience and product review, I am giving the Columbia Joy Peak II jacket a solid 5-star rating.

I love this coat. This coat is everything you want it to be and more. For a girl who lives in Boston, having a warm coat is my top priority. Whatever they put in this thing is magic because it is super warm, but it isn't puffy. Normally warm coats make you look like you need to lay of the eggnog, but not this one. Luckily, this coat is warm AND cute. The color is really nice and the stitching helps give it a bit of interest. I am a bit nervous about the white, but so far it hasn't caused me any problems.It fits true to size, while still leaving a bit of room for layering.

Really like this coat - good warmth to weight ratio. Not puffy at all yet super warm so no Michelin Man look to it at all. I'm 5'5" and this jacket hits just below mid-thigh so it's a great in between length. Will be great for walking the dog in colder weather. There's no hood adjustments on it - just zip it all the way up and you should be all set. Would have been nice to have a velcro hood adjustment in back though. The cut is feminine so the waist is also not adjustable. There's a 2-way zipper for extra mobility at the bottom. I'd buy this again and again.

This isn't a snowstorm-type mid-length jacket, but more of what I call a "day coat." In other words, it isn't bulky and down-filled, it's more of something to take the edge off a brisk morning versus a serious hiking coat.Here is SOCAL, we don't typically need much more than something like this, even in the dead of winter. Lightweight, hooded, and made with a special heat reflective lining. Looks good enough to wear out or to the office.If you are going to the North Pole, this won't cut it. But, if you need a lightweight coat for traveling, day hikes, or running errands, this might be just what you need.

This is just darling. I absolutely love the very color. It has a very sleek look to it. The length is ideal for those cold winter nights. This is super easy to wear. It is warm, but not overly puffy.
