so I bought this keyboard to replace my PS4 controller. i already had a mouse. 10/10buy this item.

It works, good feel when typing. Those are the two important things. The multi-colored light thing is a gimmick and not worth mentioning. The only caveat I have - and this is not a criticism of this keyboard but a warning to Mac users - has to do with the typical placement of the "Command" key, which on a Windows keyboard is not next to the space bar, but one key to the left, with the "Alt" key being next to the space bar. This will cause carpal tunnel issues for Mac users who are used to using keyboard shortcuts "CMD+..." You just can't do this on a Windows keyboard because your thumb has to curl under your hand - as opposed to just moving slightly to the left on a Mac keyboard - and over time, this will cause carpal tunnel issues. Beware. While technically this works on a Mac as the "Window" key is actually the "Command" key, remember that that was added as an afterthought years later on Windows keyboards (it was never on the keyboards for DOS or early Windows machines) and has always been in the "wrong place" for constant use with keyboard shortcuts. No points taken from this review for that, just a warning to people who might buy this (or any other Windows keyboard) for use with a Mac.

Not many colors to choose from for the backlight, and the space bar sticks every so often, but otherwise seems like a good keyboard.

I ordered this keyboard for my wife's PC. For years she has been using an ergonomic keyboard that was a little bit too large for her. Neither of us were happy with it because it was too noisy but we never got around to doing anything about it. This new keyboard is a positive change from the old clickity clackity one. The selection of colors are very pleasant as is the ability to adjust the brightness as needed. The keyboard was immediately recognized when I plugged the USB cable in and the option keys worked right away. My wife types over 100 words a minute and is very pleased with the touch and feel of the keys. This is a great upgrade from the old ergonomic keyboard.

The keyboard has a solid feel, is quiet, and is comfortable to type on due to the large keys and layout. It doesn't feel cramped. Overall, the lighting is very even and the choice of lettering lets makes the keys very easy to read. The secondary key function icons are backlit as well, which is not always the case on lighted keyboards. Adjusting the lighting is simple - press the dedicated key to cycle through the colors.
