Was concerned about putting this together after reading reviews but it was a not a problem. The instructions were clear and concise, all the nuts and bolts were clearly labelled and packed in pre-formed plasic moulded container. At nearly 80years old it took me about 6 hours to fully assemble.It is well designed, very sturdy and my grandson absolutely loves it.

Dislikes. The holes in the bottom section of the pole weren't big enough to accommodate the fixing bolts as shown in the photos I therefore had to buy some bolts that would fit!)One of the fixing bolts that were supplied had a faulty thread & would not tighten up either. The locking screw was faulty tooThese faults need correcting as it was extremely time consuming & frustrating.It definitely needs 2 people to assemble but once erected is ( at this point) very Sturdy.Not used yet!

I did quite a bit of research to find this basketball net/stand. I was a bit unsure as there were a lot of comments about it being difficult to assemble, but thought I would give it a go anyway. It is not difficult to assemble, and took me 2 hours by myself (with my thirteen year old daughter holding it vertical when attaching the pole to the base). In fact it is well engineered and feels pretty robust. I would suggest (as another has suggested) that the nuts and bolts are kept in it's package and removed one-at-a-time; so as not to use the wrong bolts! I'm very happy with this item, and doubly happy that the kids are getting lots of use from it.

Bought this for my daughters 13 th birthday read loads of reviews and new what to expect and very pleased to say its a great product it does need 2 people to build and does take an hour or 2 but very sturdy and good value in my opinion, as mentioned by a few other reviews the hoop doesn't quite line up with the holes on the main pole and i did need to drill 2 new holes but no big issue for any diy minded person and this is the only thing i can mark it down on.

Finally got round to putting this together after two sessions and a lot of determination to persevere. The instructions are okay but assembly would have been made so much easier if a couple of the bolts had been a few mm longer. It’s decent quality and the kids will enjoy it, but beware you will need help to put this together and hold various components whilst another person connects / tightens bolts etc.

Really good. The quality is excellent. I agree with some of the other reviews it is tricky to build due to it's height. It is definitely a 2 man job and it's helpful if one person is pretty tall and strong. It took my husband and son 4 hours to build. Really good basketball stand we filled ours with water but we don't move it very far just turning it. My son loved it. I would say it's more for older teenagers.

Was a bit worried about buying from the reviews about how difficult it was to put together. However, found the instructions pretty clear and simple to follow and usefully all the bolts and washers etc. came in a packet which clearly marked out which was which, a huge help. So felt brave enough to tackle on my own and managed to build everything in about 2 hours, only needing help from father-in-law for the final bit to connect the post to the base. That took some time but was my fault as our driveway is on a very slight incline so the bolts weren't lining up, when moved to even surface it went in fine. So my advice is to make sure you build on even ground. The worst bit was actually filling the base with sand. No problem if filling with water but it is hard work if filling with sand as only two small holes in middle of base, so constantly having to tilt it to move the sand around. A simple fix would be to have more holes in the base (possibly 6) evenly spread so you could fill different sections at a time. Hopefully it will be something this company do in the future. Only other complaint is that I am finding it quite difficult to manoeuvre as the wheels aren't great and because the base is pretty heavy once filled (around 60kg) it is difficult to get it at the right angle to then be able to move it around. However, overall feel it is good value, is solid enough for casual use, whole family are loving it (esp. me!) and great that you can adjust the height (although doing this isn't the easiest).

I managed to put this together by myself (with the help of strategically placed dining chairs) it is a bit fiddly at parts but is quite straight forward if you follow the assembly video (scan the QR code in the instruction manual). I underestimated how big it would be on my small patio but my son loves it so it’s done it’s job and was a great price

It was delivered earlier than the delivery date, there were no missing parts, it was easy to assemble, it took me about 3.4 hours to assemble with the help of my son even though I'm not handy at all. The product was great and very good. Bought it sometime in July, 2020 and still serving me. My son loves it.
