The mold keys work very well in holding together. Firm and good quality

The first version of this mold was perfect. Easy to use, easy to paint, perfect. So I bought two more. The new ones have a thicker face and lid which helps with sturdiness during the curing process, but now makes it harder to demold. There are also issues with the numbers on the D12, D%, and the D20. Some of the number indents make the final result too shallow, bumpy, and near impossible to ink cleanly. I love that this company is listening to it's customers and trying to improve the design, so I'll keep trying. The first two pics are the new set, and the last pic was my original that I fell in love with. You can see that the 11 on the D12 is see transparent whereas the 11 on my original is thick and opaque.

I have tried several companies dice molds. This is the best one so far. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but that isn't an option. I have tried epoxy resin, UV resin and even air dry clay (which works really nice) In the end they are all wonderful until I remove the top after curing. When I tried UV Resin and after a few weeks they leaked having not completely cured in the middle. That said if I layered it and cured it by each layer it was pretty good. However...when I remove the top I get little air bubble holes. I have coated the top with resin prior to placing it on the base mold. I have tried curing it upside down and right side up and I still have little holes somewhere. I'll keep working at it and see how it goes. The ones that did turn out (about 50+ of them) I boxed up and gave to my grandson for Christmas...who loves playing D&D. He's 13 so he doesn't care about the imperfections. He tells his friends his grandmother made him D&D dice! So proud when he tells me I'm his cool grandma. Some of them I made keychains with. I'll keep working with it. I can't say it is user error but I've made over 100 of these, some leaked and had to be discarded. Others it's hard to color the numbers because of the holes and difficult to fix by filling in.

Great set!

This is not a beginner friendly product. But if you know what you are doing and how and follow the instructions step by step then you can get some really amazing dice. Air bubbles are 100% user errors as after heating and slow pouring my resin and adding some to the top lid before closing it all at once and putting something heavy on it I have gotten consistently perfect dice. This is a fantastic value and my favorite way to use left over resin. the size is pretty standard they seem to match most of my other dice without being overly small. A great buy i will be getting more

I love the unique shapes this mold offers. And while it's INTENDED for resin, I decided to buy and use it with pillar wax for my dnd themed candles that we sell here at Tales By Light Candle Co. The first time O filled them even to the edge of the top of the mold cavity. I advise to not do that as a few ended up with small crevices at the top of the mold (which isn't a super big deal of you're just using it for candle toppings but not so much with resin. Now I slightly overfill them so they spill over a bit and then carefully but firmly place the lid of the mold on. A few hours later and voilà! Did shaped wax! As far as age goes, I put 10 but I would make sure if they are between 10 and 16 they have an adult assist and maybe have light supervision for upper teens. Resin and hot wax are no joke.

Absolutely better than the old one and great price for the quality. Good starter mold for those wanting to try dice making but not ready to make the investment in a silicone mold. No raised faces and has lasted 10 pours already and holding up!

The numbers don’t come out well, the mold wasn’t done properly so some of the numbers are patchy, flush with the dice face

You can not get enough into this mold to actually make these dice

Each set I purchased was slightly misshapen and the numbers were printed poorly. Slight tears in a few slots.
