Save your money & look elsewhere if you are looking to test silver!!! This is the first time I have ever left a negative review. I just received 2 bottles of the 18k acid to specifically test silver. I had a bad batch of 3 bottle I bought a while ago and now just realized they were from this same company. Ugh. *** Acid is either weak, a bad batch or just not what it is suppose to be and did not react to sterling silver at all. Unfortunately, the bottles are not returnable. I didn’t bother testing 18k because I desperately need many bottles to test silver. I have loads of silver to test. Luckily I had a little bit left from an old bottle so I could compare and see that this new acid does not work as it should. I have to try to find a better source with acid that works… they too will be unreturnable on Amazon. So, 5 bottles purchased of 18k acid that do not react when testing silver. I have included a image with new acid and my old one. Now I am off to hunt for more.

It’s works fine when you get a good bottle. The last three I’ve gotten were no good. It’s a crap shoot
