Magnificent
Absolutely brilliant, this may just become my 2nd most favourite marvel comics franchise! A very good story with well developed personal conflicts and social development, i cannot wait for the next volume.

Just an enjoyable read
“Domino – Killer Instinct” collects issues #1-6 of this new solos-series, though she id also hanging out over in the Weapon X team-book too. This is a sort of secret origin story, taking up the whole book, but with a sort of bonding-with-the-girls story running alongside.I know nothing about Domino’s back-story – I have seen her in the odd X-Men and Deadpool story, but other than her powers, nothing else. Here there is reference to a sort of ongoing team-up with Diamondback and Outlaw, who are the main supporting cast, though Deadpool and Shang-Chi are also in attendance. I don’t know if the young ladies are pat of her back-story or whether they are being retro-fitted, but all the joins are invisible, and this being the Marvel universe, everybody knows everybody else – see the Spider-Man cameo for proof…The main plot involves a couple of mysterious characters who are tied to her (Domino’s) origin – again, I have no idea of they are established, or even how much of her origin is established, but it doesn’t matter – everything flows smoothly and in a most entertaining way. This is written by Gail Simone so you know it will be entertaining and contain continuity references that you will probably not even notice. The art is as smooth as the story/scripting, and though there are a number of artists, this side of things is also smooth. This really is just pure entertainment – with stuff dragged out of Marvel’s attic/basement/storage unit that will amaze you if you are old enough to remember/be reminded of it.
