This is a very basic laser level, so don't get your hopes up that this is a fantastic deal. Nonetheless it is a good deal if your looking at one project or a few projects, but not a contractor. This has the basic horizontal and vertical lines that can be used together, or independently, plus it has the upper and lower 'plumb bob' feature. The stand is a nice addition and doesn't require you to get one which is very helpful. I really like this gem because it has a bubble level on the side of it and the feet 'wobble' to more easily conform to an uneven floor. This to me was worth getting this alone. Honestly, I didn't realize the level came with it. LOL It does have a self-leveling feature which is very nice. It has a deflection of about 2-3 degrees so not too bad. What dropped this down for me was the plain fact that it requires AA batteries to operate. This can be convenient when charging a pack isn't an option, but then again you need a supply of alkaline batteries too. Give and take, but I like the rechargeable option better in the end. So, like I said, this is a great setup for the person finding them wanting or needing a laser level for one or a few projects, but not for someone who is going to be using this a lot.

It does all the laser uses in one package. The tri pod is very short.

I wish I had purchased this thing sooner! This is exactly what I needed to keep everything level while working on a wall in my living room. I can already think of several more projects this will be perfect for. Very nice quality and I love that it comes with a tripod stand. This level works well and is easy to see the laser line.
