Yes you can. If I don't put mine in the cradle and leave it in case or pocket I've set it to connect via BT automatically.

Is it open to tesco sim?

Each individual phone will either be locked or unlocked. You’ll have to contact the seller direct. Tesco is on the O2 network, so if it’s locked to O2 you’ll be fine.

what size sim card does it take and does it do predictive text

It takes a standard size sim, if you have a mini or nano sim you can can buy an adapter for it. (That's what I did, only about Â£2 or Â£3 of Amazon) Yes it does do predicted text.

Will this work with the micro sim with adapter to make it a standard sim

No, I don’t think it will, although i’m not Technical. Contact your network to see if they can send you the SIM card for your mobile number for this phone they should be able to advise you better.. Hope this helps
