Andy Anand Exquisite Almond Marzipan Fruits are a visually adorable set of marzipan fruit that can add a pretty detail to your dessert table. The order includes 8 individually wrapped fruit shaped marzipan pieces that weigh a total of 8 ounces. I was surprised to find that 3 of the pieces that I received looked identical as I had expected 8 unique/different shaped fruits. The coloring and shapes of the fruit look realistic. The pieces are easy to bite and cut through but surprisingly did not have a prominent fragrance of almond. The texture is tender but it has a distinct granulated crunchiness when I was chewing. I was surprised that each piece had a fruity flavor that matched its given appearance and that the almond paste flavor is soft and muted. So when I cut through the banana shape, it tasted primarily like banana. This was noticeably different to competitor fruit shaped marzipan that I have previously tasted. The marzipan is made with almond paste, sugar, natural colors and flavors, and no artificial preservatives. The manufacturer placed the 8 pieces in a large, sturdy cardboard box without any filling (neither shredded paper nor bubble wrap) but fortunately the pieces that I received remained intact and undamaged. Surprisingly, the manufacturer did not provide the nutritional value information on the packaging, however on the product page on Amazon it states that each 3 piece serving has 180 Calories. The marzipan would be perfect to include on a dessert plate to add a pop of color as well as be an additional treat that a guest could eat and enjoy. It can also be added to a homemade cake that you decorate. I think they would also be a cute decor to a homemade charcuterie board. The bonus is that with each purchase, the manufacturer stated that all profits will directly support Education Without Boundaries which is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering children. Overall, it is a well made product that has an authentic appearance to fruit but I wish that the almond flavor was more prominent and the highlighted flavor while the texture was not so granulated.

Beautifully made shapes, and this is really fresh marzipan -- soft and flavorful. Really high quality product & I'm happy with it.
