I recently had the automatic transmission fluid changed in my 2007 Acura RDX, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Seemed to work fine for 25000 miles until lately where I'm getting some bump downshift from 3-2. I looked at the MSDS for both and the genuine honda fluid (made by Idemitsu) has a viscosity: @ 40C = 24.94 cSt; @ 100C = 6.84 cSt.(MSDS from 7/2014), and the Idemitsu H+ has a viscosity of: @ 40C = 34.88 cSt; @ 100C = 7.33 cSt.(MSDS from 8/2017). Some of the lower reviews are questioning longevity. My first couple of drain and fills (every 24k) were DW1 and I had no problems ever. It's now time for the next 24k change, and I'm sensing tiny weird behaviors in the trans in addition to the downshift bump.

Good replacement for Honda ATF. Did atf change on my civic and check engine went away

Seems great. The shame of it is if you change your transmission fluid at home and don’t have a flushing machine you have to waste some of this fluid during a 3 stage change process. No biggie. The old car shifts gear nicely and is good for another 100,000 kms.

Seems to be the best replacement for Honda’s transmission fluid. I believe after my research, that they are a Japanese company, that is making the perfect bland, to match what Honda used for their transmission.
