I can't believe it took us this long to buy a rechargeable grinder! We have used battery operated grinders for over 25 years and they take 4 AA batteries which adds up over time. Though this set is not cheap, it is well worth the price even if you don't add up all the money we have spent on batteries over the years. We use our pepper grinder at least once a day, so we go through a lot of batteries. The unit works very well and it is easy to adjust the coarseness of the pepper and salt. It has a light at the bottom so you can see where the salt/pepper is going and although we don't need that, it is kind of cool to have. The grinders and the base are study and are of good quality. I really like that the grinders have a light on them that tells you if there is a charge in them. They are simple to use, just lightly push the button and it grinds for you. I was worried that debris would fall off the bottom of them and land on the base, but you just shake it lightly and you are good to go. The base is easy to clean too if something does get on it. And the look is so sleek & stylish! They go well with any kitchen and they do not take up a lot of room. I highly recommend this and think I will start giving them out as housewarming gifts in the future.

Absolutlely love this thing! I am a big cook in the kitchen and to be honest hate the fact that i had to pour the salt every time. I use large granular salt but this electric mill lets you control how big or small you want the grind to go. This was so good I bought a second one and gave it as a gift. Adjusting the size you need, refilling the salt, and cleaning the item is very easy. Quality of the item is good and is it a great kitchen item to have.

These are kinda OK. Hard to connect to charger if any salt residue falls onto charger area connectors. Both work fine if you can get past the weak connection method.
