My generics had .35 and .5mm needles, so I thought I'd be ready for the 105's 0.5 needle. Boy was I just not! I have great control for fine lines, but once I move the trigger back any further than that...shotgun. All the paint just blasts out at once. So after doing some reading, I decided to pick up this conversion kit, and I'm happy to say it has solved 90% of the problem (the other 10% being my learning curve, which no kit can fix). I have a comfortable, controllable spray again.
