I really love this light. Like so much…is it wrong to keep it when I got it for my mom. HahahahaI ordered this because of the large numbers as well as the options to pick a brightness setting on your clock. I thought the nightlight could be cool and she may use the ambient noise but most probably not.I needed to test it before gifting it for a review and wow.First off new tech today is doing tooooooo much. I have a sound machine I got when I had a baby. Cool…nah. It has to be online to pick your settings and is difficult to keep everything available when the power cuts off. If I had known before I would have made different choices but had nothing until now for comparison.This clock though. AWESOME. There are regular buttons and dials and NO request or requirements to be online to operate. The nightlight is activated by buttons on top. It has a setting to pick your colors and brightness for the nightlight along with the clock.The dials determine changes in sounds or volume. It’s easy to operate even in the dark. There clock is super large and it’s even easy to see the day of the week.I think this clock is worth the price and its ease of use makes it a win for everyone. If you want a nightstand clock you can see while not having to have apps and passwords and God knows what else to make a clock work via your phone this is it. It makes a great gift idea for all ages or just one you get for yourself without feeling like there could have been more out there. It’s definitely a solid sound machine, clock, and nightlight rolled into one. Loves!!

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this alarm clock. I love that it's all controlled with buttons on the device, not from a separate app. Part of the idea of getting an actual alarm clock for me was to not use my phone around bed time and upon waking. A lot of "smart" devices these days are controlled via faulty apps. Not this one. It's all really solid buttons whose functions are easy to remember after taking about 15 minutes to explore all the options.I love how customizable this is. There are many different color options for the light at the base, and 4 dimness levels for each, including off. You can also change the color of the display. The clock remembers all these settings until you change them. The display dims down to barely visible, which I like to have at night so it doesn't produce light but I can still see the time if I want to. The display also can go down to completely off while the clock is still on, if that's your preference.I really enjoy a lot of the sound machine options, and there's a low sound that I like to have on every night while sleeping. You can adjust the volume of this as well. The only thing I don't love about the sounds is that to change them, you have to cycle through all of the options one at a time until you find the other one you like. The clock remembers the last one you were on, so I always leave it on the same one, but if there were a simpler way to change to my other favorite, I would love to put on the bird sounds in the morning. This is a minor complaint. If I really wanted bird sounds I could just cycle through to them, then cycle back to the low rumble at night.The alarm clock is great. It's easy to set the time by scrolling with the wheel on top. There are options for having the alarm set automatically on certain days of the week, or every day. I don't think you can customize it in so much detail that you have one weekend time and a different weekday time set automatically (though to be fair, I haven't tried, maybe you can). I just set it before bed every night. My biggest complaint with the alarm is that you can't customize the alarm sound. It is a beep. I thought that would bug me because I like to wake up gently, however, the beep is not as grating as other alarm clock beeps, and, big pro, when the alarm goes off it starts out really quiet and gradually gets louder. So I always wake up before it gets disruptively loud. You can also customize the max volume of the alarm, but I like having it at the loudest just in case one day I don't wake up from it at first. There's a snooze function. Hit the top wheel and it will snooze for 9 minutes (I'm happy it's 9 and not 5!), or hit the smaller alarm button to turn the alarm off and get up. Functionally, it's been perfect for waking me up gently. I even like it more than my phone alarm. I usually wake up just from the sound machine stopping its rumble and the very quiet beeps beginning. A couple times I've snoozed and enjoyed that feature, but mostly I feel ready to get up. If it helps, you can put a light on in the morning, and/or some bird sounds.I also just love the overall look of the clock. It looks well crafted. Sleek, modern, cute, and warm all at once. Just like the photo.It plugs into the wall. There's no compartment for batteries, so I'm not sure about what would happen if the power went out during the night, but there is also a charging port, so maybe it's possible to charge it so that there's backup power in the event of a power outage. I haven't totally looked into that.Overall, I couldn't be happier. I'm loving this little clock, how the warm light makes me feel before bed, and the process of waking up from it in the morning. It's well designed and well constructed. A genuine five star item.

This clock is compact, easily readable day or night, has several sounds and a light feature. I thought since it came with a usb cord as the power cable, that it might have a battery. I was wrong. I needed a cordless clock/sound machine as there is not an outlet nearby where I need it. It’s a nice enough alarm clock for not much money, but it just doesn’t work for me. My mistake.

This alarm clock is just the right size to fit on a small night stand. I love that the numbers are big and that you can adjust the brightness (very easily with the turn of a button on the back) and that it is also a sound machine as sometimes I like this to help with falling asleep. The one thing I want to point out is that this alarm clock is SO EASY to set! the buttons are big enough and there is a turn knob at the top to set the numeric time making it so much easier than fooling with small buttons. It has a nice night light which you can select the color and brightness and something called a sleep trainer which is a light that goes on just prior to when you say your wake/sleep time is. If you want an alarm clock that fits in your space, has multiple options but the instructions are clear and easy, then this is for you. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with the sound machine feature of this alarm clock. We keep the rain noises on 24/7 in our bedroom and do not use the clock feature. I like the dial for adjusting the brightness of the clock numbers. We have the clock turned so that the back is facing us and I turned the brightness all the way down for easy sleeping.The sounds are easy to cycle through and I am happy with the variety of sounds available. The last of the rain sounds is my favorite and we keep it running all of the time and find it very relaxing. I sleep better with the rain noises running and feel that my sleep has improved since getting this sound machine.
