what should the normal readings be for freshwater glofish?

We would recommend 6.8-7.8 pH, 0ppm Nitrite, 5-20ppm Nitrate, 150ppm GH and 100pm KH. Please contact API for additional help.

Why the #%$ wouldn't they include ammonia in this?

Great question. API cannot include ammonia tests on 5-1 strips because of the chemicals on the pad. If we did, this would ruin all the other tests on the strips. Ammonia test strips are always separate from the rest of the tests.

How long do these typically last until they expire? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a 25 or 100 pack. Thanks :)

U can make them last longer if u cut down the middle of the strip and make 2 small ones...that's a nifty trick...turns one into 2 without damaging them
