wow! it worked. I was getting a weird little musty smell in my laundry room. couldn’t figure out what it was. my husband said could it be the washer.I bought this and did it twice. so far, 2 weeks later no smell.

So the listing for this product and the pictures don't match up. The listing, at least at the time of the review, talks about a 12-month supply of washing machine tablets. What I received was an 11 oz bottle of liquid washing machine cleaner. That being said this product did work well. The washing machine was super clean after I ran a cycle using this liquid cleaner. The bottle says to fill the detergent drawer with 5-6 oz of the liquid cleaner and run a cycle. I ran my self-cleaning cycle with about 5 oz of the cleanser. I was very pleased with the results. My washing machine looked great. I do like the results of this product. My reservation though comes from the fact that this is only an 11 oz bottle. The instructions indicate to use 5-6 oz in each clean cycle, meaning this bottle covers 2 cleanses. For around $15 that's quite expensive for a bottle of cleanser that offers only 2 clean cycles. I feel like either the bottle needs to be bigger or the price needs to be much lower for what you are getting. The product is great, like I said but not great enough to warrant that price for only 2 cycles of cleaning.

I'm glad I got these little tablets, because they helped my washing machine finally get clean. It's been a while, and I could never figure out what my washer needed. However, I used these tablets and within a couple of cycles, there was a noticeable improvement.

These little tablets seem to do a good job of cleaning my energy efficient washing machine. It has a stainless steel tub and it really sparkles after cleaning. I always dry the drum and rubber gasket after each use, but it still needs a good cleaning on a monthly basis to keep it fresh. If you use two tablets once a month as directed, this will last a year. These are MUCH more affordable than the name brand and seem to work at least as well.My only problem is that these are made in China and I have no idea how safe they are for the environment.

I am extremely particular about my laundry...I feel like I spend money on clothing, to wear it, not allow it to be destroyed by the washer. That having been said, I have used washer cleaners before, and I feel this one by far exceeded my expectations as far as cleaning my machine and helping to keep my clothes cleaner. My roommate is a smoker...it's frustrating, and on top of it he ALWAYS carries a pen in his pocket...you see where I am going with this. Well, pens break, and get ALL over everything, and the ink stains the washer drum, I have tried SEVERAL different methods to remove the residue that cigarette tar and pen ink leave in the washer, EVERYTHING! This cleaner, is by far the best. I used this as directed by the manufacturer, and the drum came out spotless! I ran a second load with another tablet, just to make sure that the interior drum had as much residue removed as possible as well. I feel like my clothes have been cleaner once removed from the wash. I don't use the dryer for anything other than towels, because pens, and tar...I made the mistake of drying my down comforter, only to remove it stained with ink pen, and God only knows what. For me, these cleaning tabs are a must have, especially if you live with a smoker, I personally feel that my clothes come out cleaner, ultimately will last longer and smell better because the washer is clean while cleaning my clothes. I will always purchase this particular brand of washing machine cleaning tabs, as they have worked VISIBLY better than all previously other tried brands. Highly recommend, you will not regret purchasing these, I know I don't!

This washing machine cleaner did a decent job on cleaning my front loading washer. My only issue was that it made way too many bubbles and I was worried it was going to foam out of the machine. I used 5 oz as per the bottles instructions and I feel it was way too much. I had to run several rinse cycles to get rid of all the leftover suds. Next time I would use half as much product and see how it does.

We have a pretty new front-loader that has extra venting, and a clean water supply that doesn't tend to leave any residue or mineral deposits, so not sure we really need any extra cleaning. Still, my wife wanted to try these to see if they made any noticeable improvement. They're easy to use, but we really can't tell if they do anything for our machine beyond leaving a mild clean smell. I don't think they do any harm, but I guess we'll only use these occasionally, or if we start to notice any soap residue or mustiness in the washer. The expiration date is almost three years away (why would this sort of thing expire?) so there's no rush.
