Mr. Christmas Lights and Sounds Outdoor Christmas Lights Power Strip Stake, Synchronizes with Lights, Plays 20 Songs, 6 Outlets

****.. a year later still love them..our sound is PLENTY loud so i dont get that... we put those large ziploc bags over the units and just leave them on..they are roomy enough to get air. We hold one end with a rock..if it gets condensation on occasion we take em off a few hours..i think theyd be ok without em but why risk it..we have now switched to all l.e.d. so we dont have to worry as much about overload. They work great!!! We turn down the music after a few hours so we arent THAT neighbor lol*****...put on rock (I think Siberian would work, but rock matches up quickest...the mix of all 20 is random so i dont think they will match even if you can get same start)... ..and both on SAME POWER STRIP, turn on n off till land on same song...they may slightly shift sync, but youd hafta really stand there and be looking for it to notice in the music, and you cant tell at all in the lights, (so I don't think anyone on the street would notice) and then they seem to catch up again, ...if they get too outa sync, try making sure the load is even...like most people , we have a big and small side of yard, and as we added more to large side, it made that side lag a little more...we could have balanced the load more, but we just turned the sound down, and it wasn't really detectable in the light display..... they are AMAZING for the money...love em...case is sturdy but will cover when not in use to give extra weather protection......sound is very good, 1 is plenty to hear from road without being obnoxious, 2 is cool stereo sound...be careful not to overload because ive seen many who overloaded and it blew immediately before even getting a chance to play..Led is your friend here, (40w per 100 mini vs 7 w the same led set) we had a bunch of older lights but will switch over time, ( though 2 units helps too)..cuz believe me you WILL want to add more cuz its just so much fun! in fact this with some led lights would be a great gift for someone, especially their first year in a new house..a lotta BANG for your BUCK!!.....would be very easy to do different setups on different nights just write yourself a cheat sheet on placement of plugsFUN FUN FUN!!!...looks super cool with flurry snow light machine and tronfy 130 projecters in windows w/ atmoschear running ! ;)

The media could not be loaded.  This was a big hit at my house. My son loved helping put up the lights then watching and listening. I had several compliments from friends and neighbors. Several told me their kids would insist on coming by to see the show anytime they were near the neighborhood. The set-up is easy. Just plug in the lights. To have a show you will need quite a few extension cords and some  Vertical Wall Tap - 3 Outlet - UL Listed . to use at the end of the cords. They will not fit on the device. There are 6 outlets. Be sure to use all of them. The controls are easy to use. The housing seems secure and tough. I did not use the spike because I had it on my porch. The speaker is not the best obviously but you and hear the music so that the flashing makes sense. You may want to get a timer like  Woods 2001 Outdoor Outlet Timer w/ Photocell Light Sensor, Weatherproof, 24-Hours Mechnical, Black . My neighbor enjoyed the music and lights but was glad it ended about 10 each night. The only suggestion would be for Mr. Christmas to add a speaker out jack so you could supply a better sound.

The media could not be loaded.  I didn't have time to set up my 48-channel Light-O-Rama system this year, so I put up less lights & decor and decided to try the 6-channel Mr. Christmas. I've had it running on a timer for almost 3 weeks and so far I'm very pleased with its operation.It plays 20 clips of classic Christmas songs, with each song a little over 1 minute in length for a 23 minute light show that loops until you turn off the unit. The lights dance very nicely to each song. The speaker is loud enough to be heard from at least 60 feet away even with the volume turned only halfway up. But the order is always the same.Our Mr. Christmas light show isn't as blinky-flashy as our Light-O-Rama show, and you're limited to the 20 songs that come with the Mr. Christmas unit. There's also no way to connect an FM transmitter or a higher-quality external speaker to the unit. But my Light-O-Rama setup, songs, & light sequences cost me over $1,500. LOR light shows also take a LOT more time to set up, especially if you create your own light sequences. At only a fraction of the cost, the Mr. Christmas unit is a much more affordable and easier way to turn your static display into a synchronized light & sound show that you, your family, friends, & neighbors will all enjoy. Even though I'm a long-time LOR user, I highly recommend Mr. Christmas. This music and light control box replaced my old one which I had for 8 years. Of course it cost more now, but the music volume isn’t as loud when on high. It will work fine in a subdivision where your home is close to the street, 50 feet or so. The old box had a 3 way switch that you set for traditional Xmas music or some other kind or a mix of both. The new one only has either one or the other music, but not combining both. So you only have 10 songs of each kind of music. Overall it works well and the lights blink to the music almost like a pro created it.

Works great! It brought our Christmas lights to life! Highly recommend! Only drawback is my unit did not come with the yard stake.

Slow getting here, but quality good.....used outdoors at Christmas.

Hace 15 años compre por primera ves este producto y desde eso me queda claro que si se lo pones a tu árbol de navidad hace toda la diferencia, le da un súper plus a tu decoración y aclaro la primera caja aún sirve pero se la di a mi madre y ahora necesitaba otra para mi casa, entiendo no es nada barata pero si tomamos en cuenta que es de tan buena calidad como para durar tantos años y el que haga que tu árbol sea increíble, para mi vale 1000% la pena, gran artículo, espero si baja de precio poder comprar otro para poner en el exterior de mi casa, además llego súper rápido y el embalaje es buenísimo, llega en muy buenas condiciones

i tried the controller last night ,we set up 18 lights on this controller worked great,sound was better than expectedwe will buy another to control more lights,light show on a budget.for aussie buyers you need a step down converter to run this unit from 110 to 240 volt also us to au plug converters

Everyone loves these music lights. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to bump up their Xmas lights.
