Not quite round, not quite the advertised diameter, but it worked in the end.
Received on time and undamaged. Caliper measurements noted that the "round" bar measured 35.15mm - 35.24mm in diameter depending on measurement points at each end (used two different calipers to check). I did not measure throughout the length of the bar. Regardless, I wanted something right at 35mm or up to 35.10. I only needed 5" in length overall, so I was able to cut off the appropriate length, chuck it up in drill after tapping it for a small section of threaded rod, and smoothed it out with some elbow grease and various tools. Maybe I'm asking too much for it to be closer to the advertised diameter. I guess I'm just glad it was a little too big than too small. Putting this out there for anyone expecting closer tolerances.

Can't get 608 bearings on the rods I received.
I purchased these 8mm rods to use for a project that requires 608 bearings. I have two different brand and type of 608 bearings and neither of them will it on this rod.
