Looks really nice on and have had a few comments admiring it , now own 2 citizen eco drives , timekeeping is very accurate it has a nice readable face, love the quality , fit size and weight and stylish look

Nice looking watch.Seems good quality. Have a similar watch with the eco drive which works very well.Hopefully this one will be as good. Looks promising at the moment.Good price, seen this watch on other outlets £40-50 dearer.

The watch is handsome, with the cream of the dial working well with the rich blue of the chrono minute indicator face. Orange highlights around this wheel and on the second hand create just enough "pop" to add to the functionality and the aesthetic value of the watch without being too aggressive against the cream face. The tachymeter bezel looks well finished in glossy black with crisply printed figures.My one slight complaint about the face is the positioning of the Citizen and Ecodrive logos on top of the date window, which is somewhat cluttered.Overall though, the finishing of the case- subtly brushed logs on a high polish case- is excellentHowever, as other reviewers have noted, the strap is horrendous. It feels as if it is coated in clear vinyl shrink wrap. Do not despair though, as the watch is a strap monster. It looks great on a NATO strap and on vintage distressed leather. So, once you have ditched the disappointing original strap, the watch really comes into its own- an absolute StrapMonster!

If you only want a very basic retro looking chronograph then Amazon's price is £60 cheaper than leading retailers. I had this for one Day before returning it. The second hand is only functional with the tachymeter! And is stuck at 12 o'clock the rest of the time. Its worth going deeper into the pocket for a more premium eco-drive as they have a second hand that is a second hand. Alarm , perpetual date , sapphire glass , atomic time keeping, and auto summer time . This watch has none of the above and is simply bare bones. But great looking regardless. Oh and the Date is set so deep it is very hard to read.

I've been into watches for over 40 years. This watch is well made, easy to use and offers great style. Very comfy and accurate. No battery to worry about.

This is a beautiful watch and I'm glad I bought it, but it has two main drawbacks. If you use reading glasses this is not a great watch to take a quick glance at. The contrast between hands and face is not great. I have three other Ecodrives which do not suffer from this at all, so I don't think its just "me". Also the date box is too recessed to be read in anything other than perfect lighting with reading glasses on for me personally. The strap is OK, but if it really is genuine leather as stated it is so heavily treated this is not apparent. But, it is such a looker, insanely accurate like all Ecodrives I can forgive these flaws, and no regrets with the purchase.
