Can you describe the shape of the beam? Is it a line or a horizontal field or a vertical field or a cone?

HiThe beam is a cone shape and the motion sensor is housed in a cradle so that the beam can be positioned to get best results.

Question 2

Does the device have a timer where to set the time for the alarm to operate? I don't need to be notified after 7:30 am every single day of the year.

No it doesn't. The pager has a switch which we turn on at night so we will know if there is movement at night which the sensor will pick up.

Question 3

Once the pager sounds does it continue until you turn it off or only sound for a fixed time?

Hello, As long as the person who is being monitored is still within the area of the motion sensor, it will continue to chime.  The area covered by the motion sensor is about 14-16 feet in length, and about 4-6 feet wide, so if you are monitoring an elderly person getting out of bed, the alert will start as their feet come over the side of the bed, and continue until they walk away from the field of the motion sensor.  So this is usually quite a length of time as if the patient is elderly, they are not moving at a rapid pace.  Please let us know if you have more questions. I've followed the instructions and the motion sensor won't go off. A green light appears but no sound. Any one else had this problem?

Hello, Sorry you're having the issue.  As long as you have good batteries in the pager and it is turned on, it should be working.  Is this a new purchase or when did you purchase your system?
