Great set of crescent wrenches
Quality tool, nice and functional. The jaws are tight with no play. As with all tools, commonsense on how to use it properly is the key on the job in hand. These are crescent wrenches and as such it is an open end wrench that is easy to use within its design purpose. I said that because of some negative reviews here which tells me people are not using it as designed. The failure of these wrench lies on the inability of the user. Used correctly it serves its purpose.

Variety of application
Very reliable sturdy and adjustability and variable sizes for any moment. Light but not to the point of unreliability. Worth the money for a good tool.

The Best Adjustable Wrench!
I have owned many adjustable wrenches and now that I know which are the best, I use them much more often. These are manufactured in Spain by Irega and are the best that I have seen. They do make them for more than one brand, but this Wiha version is excellent, and it is a great value, especially as a set. Many lesser wrenches have a lot of play in the adjustment or will easily change the width when you don’t want them to. They also open wider than many, which is an added plus. I really like the adjustment markings that are very accurate, and they stay put much better than the rest. The black phosphate coating helps prevent corrosion, and they feel nice in the hand. I have attached some pictures that show the wrenches and another brand's version made by the same craftsmen, and you can see they are the same. There are less expensive wrenches, but once you try one of these, you will never reach for any other, as the difference in quality is clear. The price on the set is a deal, but don’t hesitate to compare with the CL brand that also come from the same manufacturer as you are getting the exact same wrench.

Set of 3 made in Spain adjustable wrenches
I find that I am often misplacing my adjustable wrenches so I decided to get some more so I don't spend time hunting. This brand, Wiha, has a good reputation so I gave these a try. They are more expensive than other options, but I would rather have quality tools than cheap ones when it comes to tools that get used often. The wrenches seem to have been subject to some sort of blueing/blackening process and then had the jaws area milled and stamped with measurements - metric on one side, SAE on the other. There is some play - both in the direction of adjustment and perpendicular to it. In the direction of adjustment, if I set it to say 10mm, then press the jaws closed with my fingers, there is about half a millimeter of backlash between the worm gear and jaw gears. If I push harder, the worm gear will move another half millimeter. It seems like the worm gear is on a spring and this is by design.I was able to get a .08 mm feeler gauge between the wrench body and moveable jaw on one side while pushing it to one side, so about .04 mm on each side.I haven't paid this much attention to adjustable wrenches before so I am not entirely sure how what I found here compares to what's out there. This seems mostly in line with a set of older USA made Craftsman wrenches that I already have.
