Sawyer Products Mini Water Filtration System

This filter fits the threads of common 1 liter water bottles. This makes it fast to filter water. Simply fill your dirty water bottle with water to be filtered and squeeze it into your clean bottle.

I initially didn’t understand why the red mini was cheaper than the other colors. I contacted Sawyer, it’s a new product, same mini, just without the retail packaging and the accessories. Just the filter and backwashing plunger. No squeeze bag or straw. I don’t use those anyway. Just use a compatible bottle or bag (smartwater, dasani, evernew etc).Glad they now offer this cheaper competitive option. I like Sawyers certification methods and backwashing capabilities better than the competition. I ordered a second, and will probably grab a few more at this price.

This is great little filter. I used it to make a gravity filter for my hike up Mt Whitney.
