What a Difference!
I just started playing the chanter 3 months ago. I had a reed that came with the chanter. My sound was very quiet and I was putting in a lot of air. I know nothing about chanter reeds and picked these because they came as an 2 pack and came in a case. ( sad but true) I popped one of the reeds in tonight and WOW!!! The sound was big!! Thank you Barefoot Bagpiper! What a difference! It gives me hope!

Good product, fast delivery
Good quality and delivered quickly. These synthetic reeds for the bagpipe practice chanter work well and should last for quite a bit of playing.

Disappointing
These reeds are great - when they work. This is the second time I've bought a 2 pack. Both instances one of the reeds plays perfectly and the other craps out when you play the high notes at speed. I would give this 5 stars if they could get their quality control together. For the price you are paying for these it shouldn't be an issue and it's honestly pretty annoying.

Not a bad reed. Using it in a plastic Naill, the tuning isn't perfect but yanno they never are. I suppose the chanter could be taped but nobody I know ever does that for a practice chanter. And close enough.
