I had a nice, tall tumbler that came with a fairly flimsy plastic straw. After a couple of uses, the straw broke, so I was left with a tumbler I couldn't use unless I used a single use straw, which wasn't ok with my views on using things that don't harm the planet. Also, because the hole for the straw is quite narrow, it was difficult to find a thin enough straw to use without it getting stuck.Found these metal straws here on Amazon and decided to give them a try. These straws are wonderful! I especially love the bent ones and find myself using those the most, so gave the straight ones to my daughter and she loves them. The longer ones are just perfect for the tumbler I was needing a straw for and the bend just added to how much I enjoy the tumbler, I love being able to just grab and sip with ease!!The rainbow colors are so nice, they're fun because they catch your eye without being gaudy. They add a nice pop to the silver tumbler I needed them for and they're also fun with my other tumblers and cups as well!There's no metallic taste to them at all, that I can tell, all I taste is whatever I'm drinking! They are much thinner than most straws people might be used to, but that's easy to get used to and doesn't detract from their functionality at all!What I especially love is that they came with the brushes AND the bag in which to store them! This is great!! No more lost brushes in the drawers, no more hunting through endless stores to find the right sized brush, no more straws getting lost amongst the other things in the drawer! All of my straws are in one place along with their brushes!! The brushes are sized just right for the straws so I know I'm getting my straw clean when I wash it. Knowing my straw is clean makes it all that more likely that I'll keep using reusable straws instead of single use straws.I don't like silicone at all, so I can't say much about my experience with the tips, as I haven't used them. But I did give them to my daughter to use instead. She loves them and says they go on quite easily and work well for her.Overall, if you're looking for nice, colorful reusable straws that come in two different lengths, that are thin,and that come with silicone tips, cleaning brushes and a carrying/storage case, look no further, these are what you need!

These straws are great! I use them all the time. They are easy to clean with the brush cleaners they come with and the different sizes of the straws; the silicone straw tip covers make them safe for kid use and the storage bag keeps everything together in one place.*Take note that the silicone tips aren't that easy to put on. But once you get them on they are not coming off easily. Also if you have a child that's likes to chew on things maybe you should only let children above 3 yrs use these type of straws with the silicone tips.

This was way more straws than I needed but it was a good price. We use them every day and are very satisfied

Steel seems like quality material. Gold is darker than expected tho. The silicone cover tips aren't high quality silicone as they turn white when pinched or bent so I cannot use them. The straws are small in diameter so it's a little harder to clean the bent ones. But overall not bad to clean. They should last a while. Overall happy with purchase.

Excellent straws, since I bought the, these are all I use. I wish I could buy more rubber tips separately also. The stainless steel lasts forever, the rubber just a few months.
