Rollerblading with no scrapes
We got these for our 8-year-old daughter. She really wanted elbow pads after falling, and this set came with everything. She said everything was comfortable but made the comment that her knees were hard to bend which was expected. The size of everything fit her just right. The hard plastic parts seemed the right size, and the extra padding seemed to cover the right amount of excess skin. I did have to tell her which direction to put on the elbow and knee pads. She also made the comment that the back of her hands was going to get scrapped as there was no material, but I told her not to worry about that. Overall, she and I are very happy with the quality and fit and see her using these for a long time.

Good protection
I got some cool new skates for my little friend, so naturally I had to get some coordinating protective gear. The set is good quality and each piece is made from the same materials so they actually match. This is a good complete set (just need a helmet) to keep your young one safe while enjoying roller skating, roller blading, skate boarding, or even bike riding. I have peace of mind knowing that she has this extra protection

Good value for protective gear set
This fits my tall 4-yr old boy pretty well, and seems like it will provide good impact resistance for falls from the scooter (one of the higher risk causes for injuries and emergency room visits for young children, compared to a bicycle). Although he always wears a helmet, I think we'll try to wear knee/elbow/wrist gear, especially when he starts inline skating/skateboarding and using the scooter more. Based on the sizing, we need to tighten the straps most of the way now, so I expect he'll get at least another 3 years of use unless they get some really big impacts (at which time we would replace them, since there are probably a finite number of big impacts before protection diminishes). The red color scheme is eye-catching enough that hopefully he'll be visible to others on the street. At a price that is less than half of most helmets, these seem like a no-brainer (though, so is not wearing a helmet) for improved impact protection and hopefully these will help us avoid the pain of injury and costly urgent care and ER visits.

Nice Set, But Too Small for Older Kids – Best for Ages 8 and Under
This GEQID Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, and Wrist Guards Set is a nice little set with plenty of pieces, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit my 12-year-old. Even though it’s advertised as suitable for ages 4-12, I’d recommend it for younger kids, probably around 8 years old or under. The plastic is hard and durable, offering good protection, and the fabric is soft and comfortable on the inside. It’s a well-made set, perfect for younger children who are into roller skating, biking, or other outdoor activities. However, if you’re buying for an older child, it might be too small. We’ll be giving ours to someone else, but I’d still recommend it for younger kids who need some reliable protective gear!

Fits 5 Year Old
5 year old daughter loves them, she’s been into skating for awhile now and we decided after her taking a couple of falls, it was time to get her some protection. They seem pretty soft on the skin. The plastic protectors are not super hard plastic switch makes them a little more comfortable in my opinion. Simple enough that we do not have to help her get them on. So easy a 5 year old can do it.

Good Protection Pad Set
This is a nice, complete set of pads that comes with a convenient mesh, drawstring bag for keeping all of the pieces together (something that seems like a minor detail but is SO helpful with keeping track of gear). The outside of the pads has a hard shell piece that provides protection and the inside is padded, soft fabric that is comfortable against the skin.I ordered these for my 4 year old who is 38 pounds. The size is ok for him but would be better for a slightly larger child. Since the recommended weight is 40-80 lbs, I'd say that's probably fairly accurate. I do wish the elbow pad velcro could adjust a bit smaller because everywhere else fit ok.We use these pads on our local rail trail when rollerblading and they have provided a terrific amount of protection for an impressive number of falls. My child is new to rollerblading and spent as much of our first trip flat-out on the pavement as he spent upright. I showed him beforehand to keep his fingers flat out (not in a fist) if he were to fall so the wrist guards would do their job and he wouldn't skin his knuckles. He followed direction well and didn't get any injuries to his hands, though the wrist guards got nicely scratched up. The elbow pads did slide around a bit (they were the hardest piece to fit properly onto his slender arms) and at one point he fell and scraped his elbow up a bit where the pad had shifted. But again, he is just barely below the recommended weight range.Overall, I've been quite pleased with this set. The pads provide great protection for falls and help prevent a lot of skinned knees, elbows and hands and mobility seems good with the set on. The included mesh bag is a great addition for keeping the pieces together.
