First off, these headphones have surprisingly good sound quality for their price. I was taken aback at first when compared to my stock Apple earbuds. The ear clips fit snug on my ear, not uncomfortable but not floating either. Ideal for running. The simplicity of wired headphones without voice call and song functions is exactly what I was looking for, no worries about cold weather killing battery life or bumping something and skipping tracks. Easy peasy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for simple quality!

I bought these headphones to be used when exercising and running 10K's. First, they fit very securely, much better than other headphones that cost way more, but can be a little tricky to get over the ear lobe. Once you know how to do it, though, it's a piece of cake, and they allow you to hear sounds outside while listening to music. Secondly, the sound is remarkably balanced with adequate bass, although not as much bass as a $200 pair of Dr Dre's! Seriously, these are much better than I expected and an exceptional value.

Initial discomfort and difficulty in getting over ears, but after a few times, it became rote. could use more bass, but overall, very glad I purchased these. Perfect for running or power walks.

Definitely no extra bass as claimed in the product description. The sound quality is not very good either, actually very poor considering the brand which is supposed to be known for its quality. Putting these earbuds on for the first time was a bit awkward but after a few times, it felt like "pulling on a pair of socks" over one's ears. These were a bit uncomfortable to wear the first couple of times.. The only good thing about these earbuds is that they won't fall off.

The left channel failed after fewer than 100 hours of use, about a week after the warranty expired. FWIW, I treat my equipment very gently. I kept them in a mints tin in my backpack, never pulled them out by the cord, and always put them back in the tin immediately after use.Pulling my ear through the ear loop was a pain, figuratively, and wearing them for more than an hour was a pain literally. They did, however, stay in place until I removed them, regardless of what I was doing.The sound quality was mediocre, consistent with their price and design. I don't believe the Extra Bass actually reached the published 17 Hz, at least not loudly enough relative to the mid range to hear any music at that frequency, e.g., the lowest organ tones (16 Hz), though bass guitar (40-400 Hz) comes through OK. I also don't believe the published sound pressure level (loudness) gets near the claimed 104 dB. Walking in the city I could just barely get them loud enough with an iPhone 6S to hear talk radio above ambient traffic noise (about 80dB), nor music loud enough in the gym to block out the music over the gym's PA. Of course, none of these shortcomings mattered once they stopped working at all.

I’ve been buying these Sony Earhooks for around 5 years. My absolute favorite. I can’t stand earbuds in my ears. These are light and I don’t have to worry about losing them with the ear hook. Great quality sound and durable enough for daily use.

Sound quality good enough for making phone calls, but not enough bass when listening to music; tinny sound. I like that these don't fall out of my ears, but I expected deeper sound quality as was advertised. I replaced these with JBL earbuds and sound quality is 110% better.

We have two pairs and they are holding up well so far. Moisture is the biggest killer of ear buds for us. They stay on well which is super important on the stepper, treadmill or running the trails. Have had other types/brands fall apart, shock my ears, and buzz due to moisture over time. If these last past 6 months I'll be really impressed!
