Progress with Oxford: Addition and Subtraction Age 4-5 - Practise for School with Essential Maths Skills

My son (nearly 4) has suddenly got massively into adding up, and requested a 'maths activity book'. I duly ordered this, and he's about 75% of the way through and really enjoying it. He's not really writing yet, so for the written numbers he does a few, and then I scribe as much as he wants. There are a lot of drawing activities, or 'put the dots on the domino', which he can do himself. It gets a little samey towards the end of the book.For anyone wondering about the 'includes stickers' promise, it has one sticker activity ( and not even a very good one), but it does have a sticker for completing each page, and he really enjoys putting those on. I think with a little imagination they could easily have included a few decent sticker activities that extended mathematical skills, so I've deducted one star. But otherwise it is very good and I would buy more from the same series.

Very handy for home schooling. But if you want to teach the kids suggest you start from the counting number book first, and it will make more sense to them.

I have purchased most of these books and we are slowly making our way through them. They really engage my boy who does not always want to learn. I would highly recommend. Fun content and brilliant to work along.

Really good with colourful pages appealing for children.My 4 year old loves to do it from the book and get his daily reward stickers.

Brilliant resource book for keeping kids on track while the schools are closed. Age appropriate and easy to follow.

This book was exactly whatever needed for my 4 year old. Pitched well and he enjoyed the stickers. Different application of the skills, such as +/- 1 was also engaging for him. Highly recommended.

Keeps my 5 year old busy. Loves the book and helps him learn at the same time
