Great deal!
Once the order was received and processed the turn-around was super fast and the pen works, as it should. Great service!

Lasted very short time
The pen point was set in the holder and it lasted a very short time before it seemed to jam up. I tried, following instructions, to free it but it would not work. Trying to clean it with my clumsey 87 year old hands caused the point to go the way of all flesh. And kaput!

Unbelievably bad performance and a waste of money
I've used these pens for years for my ink drawings and I know how to clean, fill, maintain, and replace nibs. I always clean my nib points at night with pen cleaning fluid and have had no trouble with any other size. The first .13 pen I had lasted several years, but in the last six months, I've replaced this size nib 3 times. All of them failed within a few weeks, the last one was DOA. Unbelievably bad performance and a waste of money. If you need this 6x0 size line for stippling, try the Rotring Rapidograph .13 pen.

Have bought several times over
The only technical pen I will use , I work in pen and ink, have tried cheaper brands, they cannot compare with Rapidograph. Will not even consider changing again.

SPEND THE EXTRA $4-5 & BUY THE ENTIRE PEN
I had exactly the same problem with the 6x0 replacement nib I purchased. The replacement nib was rinsed with distilled water before installation and allowed to air dry on a newly drawn piece of plastic wrap. (One should not use any paper product to dry any parts of the nib as even a mote of foreign material could clog it.) The pen worked flawlessly for about one week after which it suddenly stopped producing a line. It is unlikely that the pen was out of ink, nevertheless the entire pen was disassembled except for the plunger. Each part was rinsed in tepid running tap water until the water was clear, then the nib assembly, nib holder, and ink holder were soaked in Koh-I-Noor Technical Pen Cleaning Solution per the instructions. Lastly, each piece was rinsed with distilled water, and the pen was reassembled and charged with Koh-I-Noor Universal Rapidograph black India ink.The pen still would not write. I loosened the nib slightly from its holder to ensure pressure equalization, then removed any dried ink, paper threads, or other foreign material from the tip of the nib using my left thumb and forefinger's fingernail, although no visible crud was present. Next, I attempted to get ink into the nib by tapping the pen on its bottom, per the instructions, which is meant to retract the tiny capillary wire, thus allowing ink into the nib's body. To return the capillary wire to its full, forward position, from which it serves as a valve; allowing ink to flow even with very slight pressure against the writing surface, the pen was turned 180 degrees and firmly tapped on its base with a finger, again per the instructions. The instructions firmly warn against shaking the pen. This step was repeated four times without success, and there was no visual indication that any foreign material was clogging the nib. After respectively re-cleaning the nib assembly and holder, two additional Koh-I-Noor drawing inks were used, however the pen never worked again. I believe that the problem was most likely a severed capillary wire.

Extremely Thin Needle
I struggle to give an accurate rating of stars...Results are fabulous.. There is no other pen that gives such detail and quality. But I have gone through 2 of these so far... And I again am about to buy 2 more. This time with the plan to soak it in solution every night after use.Don't shake the pen! The needle inside is a like a strand of hair... Also don't take apart the pen... I only did so because the pen was already ruined and was curious if I could see what was causing the problem. When I pulled it out, the thread of the needle was all crooked and bent, I feebly tried to straighten it out (very gently) and the thread ended up coming out like a... uh, something that comes out easy. All I can say is treat this pen like a snowflake.
