This is a fast powerful pump. I have a smaller rechargeable pump and this one is faster. It's not as portable since you have to plug it into a "cigarette lighter" socket. But the pump has a long cord so that is not a problem. I hadn't noticed a 12V socket in my Subaru Ascent but I found one at the back of the "phone shelf" in the dashboard. You can set the pump to turn off when the desired pressure is reached. I comes with 7 different nozzles for about anything you would want to inflate. One was a perfect fit for my SUP. This pump is easy to use and inflates quickly. I recommend this pump.

I have used this on two occasions now to pump up paddleboards. It is effective and efficient. After inflating two SUPs via the fan function, it took the Cachalot 2 Mini Pump about 6 minutes to reach 12 PSI, whereas I was able to pump the other one by hand to 12 PSI in 5 minutes with a two-way hand pump. So the mini pump is totally worth the savings of effort (and of time if you have two to pump up)!Here are some additional thoughts:1. Pros: This unit is portable and powerful. I love the way it switches from the fan setting to the air compressor setting once it detects that the fan is no longer able to increase the pressure. The ability to set the target PSI first is awesome: the unit shuts off right at the desired PSI. I compared the digital PSI ratings from this pump to the analog dial on my SUP hand pump, and it seems accurate. The multiple attachments provide fantastic flexibility for pumping up a variety of inflatables. The cable length is great for reaching the 12V adapter in your car or truck while having freedom of movement on the ground.2. Cons: Not every SUP uses the same attachment. This pump worked perfectly on one of my SUPs, but I had to hold it in place to keep the seal on my other one. That's a minor point.I'm very pleased! I hope it lasts for many more SUP trips to come!

This works very well and it is much easier than using a manual pump for the paddle boards. It is very lightweight and easy to pack with you or to store. I really like this product, however I do think that it is expensive for what it is.

I love that this pump can pump up to 3 SUPs instead of the others that can only pump 2. Usually, in my car I can fit up to three people and three SUPs. This pumps my SUP around the same as my other pumps 10 minutes or so for 15PSI 11 ft SUP. I have multiple pumps, but with this you only need one. If you already have a few pumps then maybe having multiple will help with getting on the water sooner since you don't have to wait for anyone to pump. If you don't have a SUP pump yet, I would recommend this one.

This pump is a game changer when I take my inflatable paddle board down to the lake! No more getting tired out in the hot sun with a hand pump. With this unit, my board is all pumped up in five minutes, and I save all my energy for gliding on the water. It simply plugs into the car's lighter socket, and will pump up to a max of 20 psi, which is more pressure than most boards hold. So, it is plenty powerful enough to fill quickly and without getting overheated. The digital display tells you how many psi you are currently filled to, so you can accurately pump without putting too much air in your board. The small size and convenient carrying case make this pump really easy to bring along in the trunk of the car. There are a bunch of different sized connectors for various attachments, so you can use it on other inflatables besides just paddle boards. I really like that it also has a deflate function. This makes deflating the board just as easy as inflating. After a long ride, I can be all packed up and in the car in about ten minutes!

This is a great pump for stand up paddle (SUP) boards, inflatable kayaks, or any other type of inflatable.My SUP requires 15psi, and try as I might with a couple hand pumps, I was never able to get it past about 12psi. And it took me about 7-8 minutes to get it that high.This pump was able to easily get to 15psi in about 6 minutes.Everything about this pump is top notch:- Controls are easy to use: Simply use the +/- keys to set the desired PSI and hit start. It will automatically shut off when it reached the level.- Connections are solid: it comes with adapters for all different types of nozzles. The threads to connect the hose and nozzles is high quality and easy to tighten. The connection for my SUP fit perfect.- Clear instruction manual: Easy to follow, in plain English.- Nice carry bag: Everything fits easily into the well made carry bag.One thing to be aware of is the power cable is only for a 12v (cigarette lighter) plug. I think it’s about 6’ long.

I'm not using this pump for a SUP board but rather for an inflatable kayak. My kayak has several air chambers but at a relatively low pressure. Still, this pump can inflate each bladder fairly quickly (<1 min each). The noise on this pump is comparable to similar styled pumps (not super quiet but also not excessively loud.) The cord is long enough to stretch from the center console of my truck to the boat, as long as you stay close to the vehicle. The controls are self-explanatory and very easy to operate. The carrying case is large enough to put everything back into it, even when the parts are not wrapped up tight like from the factory.I have a minor issue but it is not necessarily the fault of this pump. While the pump comes with a variety of nozzles to fit a wide variety of valves on inflatables, the options are a poor fit for the double-lock valves on my Sevylor K5. I'm able to make it work by overlapping with the nozzle that came on a hand pump. And this speaks to the odd valve on the Sevylor, so it is not worth a star deduction. But, recognize that there can be a valve size for which this may not have the perfect nozzle. Still, a great pump overall.

I picked up this pump as I was always getting annoyed with having to pump up my paddleboard every time I went to the lake. So, after doing a little research I chose this model.It does what it is supposed to very fast and very well. It is powerful and can pump up as well as deflate my paddle board with ease. The connectors for the paddleboard are designed to spec allowing them to attach to my paddleboard valve, hold air and show no leaks.I really like PSI value programmer and auto shut off feature which allows me to set it and forget it while I attend to getting ready. The battery lasts 4 inflates / deflates and there's also a 12V cigarette lighter adapter as a back up. Additionally, this can be used to charge my phone or power small USB lightsThe pump's design is both practical and visually appealing. It feels strong and well constructed and I expect this will last multiple summer seasons. A great touch to the product is including a rather sturdy zipped carrying bag which helps keep everything organized and away from being damaged.Despite transport, the pump looks sleek and performs exceptionally well. Its durability and functionality make it a valuable addition to my summer arsenal and because it can inflate air mattresses, lake toys and be used as a power bank, this is a multi-use tool I look forward to using all summer while camping .

Did not work blowing up kayak or car tyres

We really want to love this “ OutdoorMaster 20PSI High Pressure SUP Air Pump, The Cachalot 2 Mini Paddle Board Pump, Intelligent Dual Stage Inflation & Auto-Off, Deflation Function, 12V DC Car Connector for Inflatable SUP Boards” because it has some great features and attention to detail, but it just falls a little bit short.Initial impressions are good, the pump comes with a good selection of nozzles for a variety of uses, everything can be compactly contained in the handy carrying case, there are 7 nozzles, a hose, a car adapter with cable and of course the pump itself.It does work well, but the hose is quite short and very rigid, making it a bit awkward to use and hook up to the inflatables we needed inflated. It can also only be used with the car adapter, meaning you can’t pump in the home or yard or garage, only with the vehicle. The cord with the card adapter is longer, but still limits flexibility for use.

An excellent, easy to use pump. It comes in a great carrying case that holds all the accessories and has room for a few additional ones.The included fittings cover virtually every type of object you would need to pump up. It comes with a car power outlet adapter, but if you have an adapter head that fits and a power cord, you can use this with standard wall power outlets too.The biggest surprise for me was how quiet this unit is relative to other air pumps I've used. It's maybe half or even a third as loud as other pumps. Not an essential feature, but a nice bonus.Overall the build quality seems excellent and everything works as it should. Very satisfied!

This is mostly good for Paddle Board type devices. You need a 12volt cigarette outlet like a car. It does pump pretty quickly, but mostly without effort ! Provide a PSI readout.It pretty compact for it function and convenient to bring with you. I like to pump manually myself, but a women friend of mine hurt herself pumping so she went with a bigger hard paddle board. But she going to sell her paddle board now and switch to a inflatable with this pump. He own a small sailboat, and having it close down make it more useful for her as well.
