I've placed these sensors at critical spots around the house, near the bathtub, under sinks and near the water dispenser. Theses allowed to prevent catastrophic floods when kids tried to "wash" our floors with the shower spray. It rings quickly and loud enough to stop anyone on their tracks. Since I own other Switchbot products, it also sends me an email and a phone notification whenever something happens.
