I have searched for a machete for a while. This one is perfect, just what I wanted. It is well balanced and the grip will not twist in your hand when clearing heavy brush. The blade is thick enough and made from a hardened stainless steel, holds its edge very well. The top side of the blade has sharp saw teeth that cut on the push and pull strokes. This is the kind of machete that could be counted on in a survival situation. I would suggest that any buyer be very careful with this tool, learn how it cuts. This blade, if misused could deliver a serious cut. It comes with a great scabbard . Worth its price.

This machete/saw is heavy duty and very sharp. I bought it to cut up pumpkins and will also use it on other things. I really like the way the handle is non-slip. It also has a sheath. Very well made and durable.

I ordered this for my husband to use when cutting down our perennial plants/bushes in the fall. He grew up using machetes for that kind of gardening, and insisted on replacing the one we had after it was mistakenly thrown out. He hates shopping, even online, so the task fell to me. At first, he was not too pleased with the length of this blade, and thought it wouldn’t be good for much, but I told him it had great reviews and asked him to give it a try. Well, he ended up eating those words! The blade length may be short (it’s about 12”), but boy is it sharp! It got the job done, even on our thick shrubs, and he was very happy with the ease he had in cutting everything down. He said it felt really sturdy in hand, and has a nice weight to it. He later admitted that he was pretty happy with it, so it’s a keeper.

Very sharp! Both machete blade and saw blade. Good balance, swings nicely, cuts well. Handle is okay, ergonomic, and hasn’t caused me any problems, but I like a slightly thicker, fatter handle, just my own preference. That’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. Maybe a little picky. Can’t say yet about durability, but looks to be a solid product.

I haven’t used it yet, but the quality was impressive as soon as I took it out of the box. It’s heavy duty and scary sharp. So, be careful with this!

Bought his to replace an ultra cheap one I had and this one is a beast. It feels more like a sword than a machete. The blade is thick and *sharp* and cuts clean through 1 1/2" branches with a decent swing. The saw comes in handy for thicker things. The sheath feels a little cheap but is more than adequate. For the price you can't beat it.

Bought (5/14/25) to replace one that just the handle gave up, it was thinner but sharp. ( did end up fixing the handle…) This one is a bit of a beast, it is thicker, heavier, but it will hack thru thick branches, and everything less. Used to clear honeysuckle, weeds, trim tree branches, all handled well, edge has taken a few rock hits with no damage. Good sheath and handle. 11/28/25 update- HANDLE CAME OFF. 🫤 Can’t find any warranty /supplier info on amazon…🫤🫤 Internet search indicates “ no discernible warranty” Made in Ukraine. Sort of Recommend.

Great product! The handle is non-slip and fits nicely in the hand. The saw blade is very sharp and I will be using it soon on branches and tree limbs for sure.
