Polaroid Waterproof Shockproof Case for Polaroid CUBE HD Action Camera - Rotates for Perfect Angle - Universal Quick-Release Clip

Used this in Hawaii while snorkeling in Hanauma Bay and the case itself worked great! Made of a hard plastic, I had no leaks or any problems at all while I used it in the water. Deepest I had the camera down was probably only about three or four feet, so I can't speak as to how deep you can take this before water seeping in would become a problem. I did not have a snorkel equipped to hook the case onto, so I had to hold it in my hand, which somewhat worried me since a rogue wave or something easily could have knocked this out of my hand and then bye bye camera! But it worked out well and I had easy access to the Record/Stop button. Now if I would only have taken some quality photos or video, but that's on me, not the equipment. I'll try and upload what I did take later (I'm doing this review on a computer that I don't have access to what I took). But the case itself is a good deal and does work well.

This case has a bit of trouble on two fronts. The first is that the OEM cube mounts seem to lack an adjustable base, you know, so you can change the direction it's pointing. The second is that the button mechanism is a pain in the butt. I struggled for quite some time to get this thing to work properly, and I still ended up losing a fair amount of underwater reef footage because the waterproof case button didn't work so well. On the upside, it didn't leak and what video I did get was fantastic.

I actually won my little cube camera in a contest and decided this would be a cool accessory to add onto it. The small downside is that this case limits the amount of mounts you could use rather than simply using a standard camera mount. As far as waterproofing goes I’ve never had any water get in the case and it is quite rugged with the case. One small thing to note if the camera sustained a fall while in the waterproof case I have had one instance when the case opened the camera stayed inside but the back flap released.

Works as described and is easy to get into/out of. Also is easy to access the buttons on the cube while its in the case. I wish more than one side of the case was clear (the top) so that the camera could be placed in to record at different angles when mounted (so it could be strapped to the chest and look straight out vs only being able to stare at the ground or your chin) but I knew in advance that wasn't the case so not an issue. Great add on product for the cube to make sure it stays intact!

Was a bit skeptical based on reviews but was going on a diving trip and needed a case quickly. I found this to be very user friendly, does the job and easy to operate underwater. I do like that the cube fits snuggly in the case and doesn't move at all. I filmed two dives and a snowboarding trip. Both came out great. When snowboarding the sound is a bit muffled due to the case but isn't a huge issue in my opinion.

Pretty much the only good thing about the polaroid cube and its accessories is this waterproof case. It does its job as advertised. The cons, however, ARE still numerous: It FURTHER muffles the already muffled sound from the Cube. It is very difficult to work the "quick release". It comes with no mount of its own, so you have to buy an additional item to pair with this one (the tripod mount and this case paired up are the ONLY way to keep this camera from wiggling.....all other mounts (including the tripod mount just by itself) have give to them and are unsuitable if you want zero movement while shooting action)

This case works great for what I needed it for. It fits my Cube perfectly and provides protection for it as well. I have brought it in the ocean many times as well as the pool. The screen does not fog up and the image remains very clear. This case also fits great with the Cube Mount. I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a good quality water proof case!
