True to size, same old same AllStars
I started wearing AllStars in the 90s when they were not crazily overpriced. I needed to change my previous black pair because we humans tend to live longer than our shoes (especially AllStars) and I couldn’t find a reasonable price even if my life was depending on it. When I came across this here I read a few comments from concerning buyers asking if they were the real thing. I bought them, they came in the usual box and when I compared them to another pair that I had bought from Converse, they were the same. Were they to be knock-offs, you wouldn’t even understand it, so I would really recommend to get them and save some money!Also, I don’t know what this discussion with size is about! I wear size 5 and I got these in size 5 and fit as usual!

Buy your correct size
I went up half a size because of previous reviews and they are a little too loose. So buy your correct size. Fine for the money

Kid gets new shoes
My little girl loves these, they look like the kind of shoe you could get from the post office when a PE emergency occured.They are however a bit sturdier than they look, but not as sturdy as a 40 odd quid price tag would suggest.Thankfully I am not a fashionesta and only have to fund this nonsense till shes old enough to work for her own cash and there for get a better grip of what something is worth, she is good on the phone bills, not like her big sister who was spending more on my phone bill than i could afford for a golf club membership, anyway soon she will be able to drive, then payback time as she can pick me up from the golf club when i have just done something very clever and deserved a drink. Vote YES, bring the control nearer to the people

Great buy
I purchased the full white ones but got the normal ones instead. Still happy with them.People are saying they are not genuine, have a look at the official Converse website and you will see they are identical.

Not what was pictured but still comfy
I was expecting the white slip on converse with the low top as shown in the pictures but what arrived were the usual white converse with the full top/laces. They’re still nice and converse just not what I was after
