Rayners Essentials Organic Malt Extract 340g

My Mum gave up all sorts of things in post war London so I could have a spoonful of this to keep me well. (as Im sure many did at that time).This tastes exactly how I remember it but no Mum about to LIMIT me to one spoonful! I could go the whole jar! Its delcious and it cant be a coincidence that Im feeling brighter (Im now 75 in gray damp of Scotlands weather) but this seems to have made me feel more energised. It may wel be all in my head but with the goodness actually in it, its more than worth it!

I can only say, about this product, it is heavenly, delicious, the taste was exactly The same, how I remember, about 65 years ago, my Dear Mum used to give it to us, I was born in December 1946, just the year after the war ended, I remember the big brown jar of Malt, I loved the taste, I did buy it once to give my two kids, I also tasted it then, but today when I tasted it, brought back all my memories of long ago, I will most definitely be buying it in the future. Exactly how I remember it from ye olden days.My health is pretty dire, and having been diagnosed with yet more illness, I am trying anything and everything that is drug free, in the hope that something might give me a boost.I used to have a spoon of this yumminess daily when I was little, this smells and tastes the same.Too early yet to say if it helps, and I will add to this review in a couple of weeks.I also plan to try making malt loaf with it, so if that works it's an added bonus!

Nice taste, but a bit expensive

Bought to make bread with. First one I've bought so can compare to alternatives but seems fairly priced, tasted nice and did what I expected. Not reason not to be happy.

Looking for this to make a Malt Loaf.The packing was poor jar leaked and very stickyeverywhere.

I love a teaspoon of this extract in my morning porridge or bedtime hot chocolate. My order arrived very well wrapped and undamaged.
