Superb
I had previously owned a ScanSnap scanner that I used for over 10 years. I was a little reluctant to get a refurbished model, but it works like a dream just like the previous scanner, a real work horse!

Still A Great Scanner To Searchable PDF
While the iX500 has been discontinued and had its heyday back in 2014, it's still a great scanner.Let's face it, scanners aren't something that have really changed over the years as they all pretty much do the same thing. This machine was made solely for scanning and not part of a All In One Printer where you are limited to just a few functions. The iX500 has some great pros including it's very fast at scanning to searchable PDF, great Optical character recognition, great at scanning in business cars, and even at 10 years old, it's still very reliable for Wi-Fi and USB 3.0 connectivity. The cons are just that it will only connect wirelessly to one computer at a time and the documentation could use a refresh. This used to be over six hundred dollars so if you need a workhorse scanner at a great deal, this is your one
