how high is the back and how deep is the seat?

As measured by my ruler just now, its approximately 18inches high, and about 12 inches deep . For us it is the most comfortable seat of this style that we have tried in the past

Push back of chair forward as far as it will go then lay it flat to reset back of chair. Then when it is all the way flat, you can lift it up and the chair will click at each setting. Pick the incline you like

I have injuries in knees & hips, I can't sit in the lotus position. Will this chair make it possible for me to sit for meditation without pain?

I bought this chair because I needed back support while meditating. I can't sit long in the lotus position, but I with the chair I put my legs straight out in front of me. I find it very comfortable. The seat cushion lifts you a little and is very comfortable.
