What are the dimensions of this toilet seat?

The inside dimensions of the opening are 8 1/2 inches side to side and 14 inches back to front. The outside dimensions of the seat itself are 15 x 14 1/2 back to front. There is an opening in the front (similar to toilet seats in rest rooms), and there is a declining area that goes into the toilet bowl. The "box" on which the toilet seat is molded is 22 inches wide including the legs. The part that holds the legs is 12 inches back to front.

How much weight can it hold

I don't know the upper limits, but my husband weighs about 210 and it easily accommodates his weight - it is comfortable and has made all the difference for us.

How wide apart are the arms?

The dementions on the box are 4 x 18.5 x 16 inches. It says the width between the arms is 19 inches or 48.3 cm.
