Malfunctioning
The handle does fully tighten into the filter basket. Just keeps spinning and screwing in without actually locking in place.

Yes, Perfect
Used this morning to pull multiple shots, dialed in with no issues on the current grind settings, stirred with WDT, tamped with 54mm solid tamper (not spring tamper), evened off with 54mm accessory and further tamped with the 54mm solid tamper. Used .7mm puck screen with medium grid. All tools fit perfectly, no rubbing on the sides and the dry puck was perfect. Slight rub on the Reveille Barista Express group head when twisted into place, nothing that was alarming (may need a new gasket on the espresso machine). All shots were excellent, excellent crema, channeled perfectly, single stream, perfect extraction time. The handle is delightful, Gemini 54mm Bottomless Portafilter Walnut Handle & Naked Double Shot Filter Basket for Espresso Lovers - Perfect Fit for Breville Barista Express is solid, well-built, good heft and pulled great shots for me.

Looks Really Nice Still Figuring Out The Adjustments Needed
This looks really nice with the wooden handle. I’m new to bottomless filters and using this the first time with my existing settings resulted in low pressure. I didn’t see any instructions that went a long with this but I am experimenting with the settings on my espresso machine to see if this can be resolved in some way. I was hoping that it would be simple to use without having to adjust the settings on my machine.

Nice looking but a bit tight for 54mm espresso tools
The portafilter is nice looking and solid, and made a good espresso using the Breville. One knock on it, though, is that the basket was a little tight (but certainly workable) for my espresso tools, including a funnel, the leveler (the tamp then worked fine) and the puck screen -- all fit, but it took just a bit of pushing and pulling (with pulling hard on the funnel spilling just a bit of the grounds and actually starting to unscrew/loosen the portafilter head from the handle). All in all it has worked and produced good espresso shots, but had to knock a star off the rating because of the tight fit for the tools.
