Super pleased!
**Sanlida Dragon X7 Compound Bow Review** I recently purchased the Sanlida Dragon X7 compound bow for my 11-year-old son, and I couldn't be more impressed! This bow offers exceptional value, especially for beginners or those looking to upgrade without breaking the bank. **Setup & Adjustability:** The bow was incredibly easy to set up straight out of the box. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to shoot in no time. One of the standout features is its adjustable draw weight, ranging from 0 to 70 pounds. This makes the Dragon X7 perfect for users of all ages, and it can grow with my son as he develops his skills and strength. He’s already shooting with impressive accuracy, and I can adjust the weight as he improves. **Performance:** Honestly, I was expecting a beginner bow to have limited performance, but the Dragon X7 shot far better than I anticipated. It has a smooth draw, minimal vibration, and a solid release. The accuracy is impressive, even for a beginner like my son. He’s having a blast practicing with it and feels like a true archer when he hits the target. It’s clear that Sanlida has put a lot of thought into designing a bow that delivers great performance at an affordable price. **Value for Money:** The Dragon X7 is an incredible value for the price. It comes with everything you need to start shooting right away, including a sight, arrow rest, and quiver. You won’t need to buy a bunch of extra accessories, which is a huge plus for newcomers to the sport. **For All Ages:** What makes this bow even better is that it’s suitable for both beginners and more experienced archers. Since the draw weight is fully adjustable, it’s perfect for kids, teens, and adults. My son is ecstatic about it, and I know this bow will continue to serve him well as he grows. **Conclusion:** If you're looking for an affordable, high-quality compound bow that’s easy to set up and shoots great, the Sanlida Dragon X7 is a fantastic choice. My son is thrilled, and I’m happy with the value we got. Highly recommend it for anyone starting out in archery or those looking for a bow that delivers solid performance at a budget-friendly price.

Simply Amazing 🏹
This bow is one of the most enjoyable purchases I’ve made in the last year. I am extremely happy with it. A few years back, I saw a random short video with someone shooting a compound bow. I thought it might be a fun hobby to get into so I started looking around at bow prices because I was curious at how much they cost. I was pretty disgusted when I found out the average compound bow set up costs around $1000. Once you get your bow, then add all of your attachments, then your release, then a set of arrows, you can very easily spend $1,000-2,000. I very quickly learned it was an expensive and somewhat elitist hobby and then I very quickly dismissed the idea of ever getting into archery. A couple months ago I decided on a whim to check around Amazon again for something reasonable. Then I stumbled upon this X7 bow. It really seemed too good to be true. This bow came with all the bells and whistles plus a carrying case and a dozen arrows AND the price was 1/10th of what I thought I’d have to spend in order to get into archery. I was hesitant to buy it because at the time I think it had one review. Obviously, I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing it. And then I waited. When it came in the mail I was giddy as a school girl when I opened it. It was beautiful. My very own compound bow. I “oohed” and “aaahhed” as I looked at all the parts and assembled the bow. I had an archery target I bought from WalMart in my living room. So I nocked an arrow into the bow, drew it back using my brand new wrist release, and I’ll be darned, I hit the bullseye of the target the first shot I took 😂. I fell in love with the process almost instantly. Since then I’ve been learning proper form and trying to get the basics down. I keep the bow and the target in my car. I work in somewhat rural areas so when I have the time and space I’ll pull it out real quick and shoot a few arrows. It’s an extremely fun and peaceful hobby. I’ve seen people online with bows worth more than my car say that any bow under $1,000 is a “budget bow” and more than likely trash. This is ridiculous. I’ve tuned this bow since I’ve gotten it to get the arrows flying straight and accurate. The way Sanlida makes their bows means you don’t have to take it to a shop and pay 100’s of dollars for them to tune it. You can do it yourself. You don’t even need a bow press. This is a huge plus for me. The thought of constantly taking a bow in to a shop to get it worked on and tuned is just not my cup of tea. I’ve put probably at least 2,000 arrows through this bow and everything is as good as when I opened the box. The price is awesome and it allowed me to get into a fun hobby without breaking the bank. Im glad Sanlida is making a bow for people to get into archery that’s affordable for the common person. Customer service is awesome. I asked if they were making replacement strings for the X7 in case I dropped my bow on accident or something similar and needed to replace them. They got back with me the same day and let me know they just put them on Amazon as well. Overall if you’re in a similar position as I was I would highly recommend this being your first compound bow Side note: for some reason this product is getting review bombed by people who seem to be getting paid to do so. At the time of me writing this there seems to be maybe 4 or 5 genuine reviews and the rest seem to be written by people who don’t even know what a compound bow is

Good for me (a beginner) and good customer support
I like this, but I will start with the bad first. I purchase kits because I don’t want to go looking for parts. The quiver quick release base plate was missing. Customer service was good and gave me money to purchase new quiver. I could not get a new base plate from them because they are pre-packed kits that sit in a warehouse in the United States. I looked to see what other parts might be available in case I break anything. Other than bow strings, I could not find anything. Another thing about the quiver placement, you cannot use the stand with arrows in the quiver. This is my first real and new hunting bow, so I am not sure if all of them are like that. The product image even shows the nocks being lower than the bottom cam. The good. The bow came already out together and was packaged well with bubble wrap. All I had to do was add the accessories. At this point I am learning to tune it. I feel like the build is sturdy and should blast me a while. I did read that some have experienced broken strings, so I am going to order some extras. I will be replacing the arrow rest. I don’t like the way it touches holds the arrows. I feel like it’s too tight. I will be replacing it with a drop down rest. The aiming pins seem to be ok. I am not experienced enough to say if they are good or bad. All I can say is, they stay in place and I can aim with them. The hand strap is vinyl plastic. I feel like I will break it so I am going to replace it with paracord. I am a beginner with hunting bows. Over all I can say this is a good bow for a beginner. It seems easy to adjust to meet my needs and looks like I can just upgrade the accessories as I get more experienced. Customer service was responsive answered my concerns. The only other issue I have is, I don’t know if I will be able to get replacement parts if I need them and if not can I use aftermarket parts.

Garbage accessories waste valuable time!!
If i could leave zero stars i would have. I had tbis bow for approximately 20 days and experienced 11 different issues that prevented any kind if use. Broken peep tube. Btokrn peep tube anchor. Whiskers missing from tve whisker biscuit. Whisker biscuit arrow rest mounts with 1 bolt and moves during use. Peep site moves during use. No cable or string silencers make the bow incredibly loud. It dumps on the back end when draw weight exceeds 45 lbs. "D" loop can not withstand heavy use above 55 pounds. Arrows sent had a spine meant for 40lbs and less. This is an adult Ready to Hunt package and the arrows cant handle the force of being shot above a 40 lb pull.. I contacted the manufacturer about the issues and was told to return. 11 issues related to cheap priducts that failed in under 30 days, and not willing to accept the responsibility of cheap products and the responsibility they have to their customers. Whuch i am no longer. I never once asked for free products or refund and keep. I asked for them to replace the cheap, broken items. The Dragon X7 is nothing special as far as bows go, the other products they offer with the bow are cheap and not worth the supposed package deal. I recommend finding the best bow package in your budget and be prepared to purchess a new peep site, a new arrow rest, and depending on your draw weight new arrows. Good luck!

Surprised, it’s not junk, it a very decent bow and quite a deal for money. It can shoot too!
For the money, under $200 bucks, it’s pretty awesome. for 50 bucks more may have gotten the x8 but it’s a real bow not junk at all and arrows are very decent, only the hand release and arrow rest are budget quality. Can it shoot, see pic at 20 ytds.

Need to know before buying
My daughter decided she wanted to learn archery and I had bought her a x6 dragon and after shooting her bow I decided I wanted one for myself. I looked into buying a x8 but came across the x7 and after looking at the reviews and a few YouTube videos I decided to buy this bow. I haven't touched a bow in over 20 years and I was very happy. I received my bow and watched many videos on setting it up and went to town. The first thing I had issues about was the arrows. They were bagged in the box and only had about 5 worthy of shooting. The fletching material was flattened out. I contacted the company and they told me to put the arrows in boiling water and then reshape the veins. That worked on maybe 3 of them. I had the bow set up around 50 lbs and had a hard time getting the arrows to fly correctly and after watching many videos on setting up alignments I learned about arrow spine and these arrows are to flimsy for this size bow. I let my daughter shoot them in her x6 and they shot perfectly. I've shot this bow almost daily for 2 weeks and decided to use some Easton arrows for hunting with it and it shoots great. Now there is the release sent with the bow. I liked it and other than being kinda touchy worked great until I turned the bow up to full weight. It failed 2 times in mid draw sending the arrow about 100 yards. I was lucky no one was around or any houses. The bow is a good purchase, the accessories are not worth it. I'm just a hobbiest not a true archer but I was very disappointed after contacting the company and was only offered $10 for the damaged arrows. I just sent them the release complaint. I love the bow but don't expect to be ready to go straight out of the box with this Edit The customer service is very helpful with this product. They made good on the damaged arrows along with the release. I would buy from them again but it's all about what you expect. If your looking to learn archery go for it. If your expecting greatness you will have to put this bow in a shop to be upgraded. The customer service is why I raised my rating from a 2 to a 3

Remarkable
I'm replacing an older Bear compound bow. I demoed several bows at a large sporting goods store price ranging $399.00 to $1,600.00. Hard to justify 400 much less 1600, I no longer hunt , but enjoy archery. On you-tube I found Sanlida Dragon X7. Sounded too good to be true and every time I try to save, I end up buying it twice. Not this time, I couldn't find much to not like! Great finish, machining, fit, engineering. A smooth, even draw, easy to adjust draw length, easy adjustable pound draw, solid wall, quiet constant release and very, very accurate. The arrow release is comfortable no creep on the trigger. Came with everything a person needed to enjoy archery. I would buy it again and highly recommend all of Sanlindas products!!! Disappointments, the bow stand too light breakable, uncovered handle area hard and cold, dangerous rubber peep sight hose, its stiff with little elasticity, on my first draw it snapped off the bow string and hit my glasses! The arrows are beautifully manufactured perfect... the packaging is not! they're stuffed into a plastic bag damaging all of the plastic vanes. I wasted far too much time trying to repair them. Heating straitening, pressing each one straight in a fletching jig letting them cool and the next day they spring back to bent and ugly. It's a shame all of the engineering, craftsmanship, pride, hard work and ethics of the good people at Sanlinda are under minded and shamed by the two fools that used inferior rubber and packaging. If I didn't have safety glasses on I could have lost an eye, and the bent plastic vanes tore up my arrow rest!

Fantastic beginner kit for someone on a budget.
Let me preface this review by stating that a bow is ONLY as accurate as the person shooting it. I've been shooting competitively for a couple decades and firmly believe that based on experience. -- I purchased this bow because I have a lot of friends who see me shoot and want to try it. I wanted something cheap because it would only be used occasionally by my beginner friends. I also needed something that was universal fit draw length and draw poundage that I could set up for anyone whether they were a muscular male, female, or child. Having arrows, rest, sight, release, stabilizer, etc is a major investment benefit as well. Anyone can shoot this bow out of the box. The hardest part for a beginner buying this kit for themselves would be installing the D-loop and Sanlida took care of that for you already. I literally purchased this kit, eyeballed the rest position, eyeballed the sight position, set my draw length, screwed down the limb bolts a random amount of times so they looked equal and started sighting in the bow at 55 yards. It took 6 arrows and a few pin adjustments to start hitting the target consistently. A bow is only as accurate as the person shooting it. If you pick up on the concepts of archery, learn good form and how to shoot you can shoot this budget bow well. The ONLY thing I did not like was the included release. There is a lot of travel in the trigger that could make it difficult for a beginner to be consistent. I would go to a shop that sells archery equipment and try a few out and get something nicer and that I trust wont break. Overall I believe this bow will fit my purpose great and after testing myself I believe it's a great package for the cost. My picture shows I also added a different stabilizer, wrist sling and limb dampeners for just personal preference.
