For the past two years, I’ve struggled with extremely dry eyes—but only at night while I sleep. It got so bad that I used to wake up 2–3 times every night just to reapply eye drops. 😩 I tried all kinds of ointments and drops, but nothing really gave me lasting relief.I recently found out that I sleep with my eyes slightly open (who knew?!), which explains so much. So now I use both an eye ointment and a sleep mask—and that combo has made a world of difference.For the past couple of months, I’d been using the Systane night ointment, and it actually worked really well. But then I saw that Obtase (my all-time favorite eye drop brand!) released their own overnight ointment—and I had to try it.Let me just say: it’s amazing. It works even better than the Systane one! The only minor complaint is that when the tube is brand new, you have to be super careful—barely squeeze it or it’ll keep oozing out. 😂 But other than that, I’ve been using it for almost a month now, and the relief has been incredible. I finally sleep through the night without waking up from dry, burning eyes. Total game-changer!

One of my eyes doesn't fully close at night and it will be so dry in the morning that it takes a few hours to sooth it. This helps keep my eye coated at night so it's not so dry upon waking. It's easy to apply but, it does leave your eye lids greasy.Optase are the best eye products OTC market. I've tried most all of them.

My eye doctor recommended this eye ointment for my very dry eyes. It is applied at night before you go to sleep as it does cause your eyes to get very blurry. When I wake up in the morning, my eyes are not dry and stuck together. Of course, as the day goes on, the dry eyes return, but it does help for nighttime sleep.

I've been using this for months and it works great, its my go-to. This time around, I'm confused- I somehow got a German version? Oh well.

This product actually does the job, much better than the usual knowon eye drops for dry eye issues. My Opthalmic surgeon recommended it. I am very pleased with the results.

Using it at night to help with dry eyes that my doctor recommended. It's help about 90%. Would recommend if the liquid solution doesn't work.

The HYLO night ointment is all I use at night. It was recommended by my doctor. He likes it because it has vitamin E in it. I have tried others but have returned to obtase hylo night.

I have used many topical eye lubricants over the years. I have become increasingly convinced that an ointment at night is an important part of helping my symptoms throughout the day. This product is less blurry, and makes my eyelids greasy in the morning. With other ointments, I still had some overnight bacterial response with stickiness or gooey junk on my lashes. I don’t get that with this product. I’ve been using it for about a month and I’m having the least amount of dry eye trouble that I’ve had in a few years. Oh, by the way, I’m an optometrist.
