The covers are supposed to stick to contents via large double sided adhesive sheets. Online YouTube makes it look simple. IT IS NOT. The cover does not close over contents and hard to get on straight. Image quality is pretty good.

So the covers did take sublimation well; the colors were sharp and bright, with no ghosting or fades. I followed the instructions they had on the product page, but no instructions were sent with the items. This made it slightly confusing to figure out how to put the cover on the notebooks. Turns out the cardboard in the book is actually a sheet of double-sided tape, and it sticks VERY well. So make sure it is aligned correctly the first time; you will not get it off without destroying whatever it touches. Because of this, it is a one-time-use item; you can not replace the notebook with this item. The pens are cheap feeling and I have not tried sublimating on them yet. I would prefer the covers be designed so you can slip the notebook in and reuse it, that would make it a better product alone.

The very first notebook I opened had dirty spots, several I was able to wipe away but some wouldn’t. ( see photo) I overlooked dirty issue and tried to sublimate over it, but it didn’t tolerate the heat very well. It sweated and then bubbled up which caused ghosting on the custom design. It warped the cardboard or whatever is maintaining the structural integrity of the notebook. What a waste of my time and money!! The first pen I used the shrink wrap that came with it but it melted under the heat and the pen did NOT take the sublimation, I tried a second one without the wrap and used a heat gun and it took it somewhat but the quality is BAD. Overall I do not recommend.
