I ordered this Arpilul Keep Calm and Carry On-Keep Calm and Carry On Metal Tin Sign, Motivational Plaques for Home Office Room Bar Man Cave Wall Decor (TP-2801,8x12 Inch) to put up in my home office.I’ve always been fond of these signs, and they remind me of the late Queen Elizabeth, who I was extremely fond of. I can tend towards the anxious, so I’ve made Keep Calm and Carry On a bit of a mantra as I get through my days, our family’s ire is chaotic, but it is rarely boring!I thought this would look great on the wall of my office. I write fairy tale fantasy series under different pen names, my office is decorated in early Once Upon a Time, with lots of castles, dragons, and crowns. I thought the crown on the sign went nicely with the fairy tale style of my office, and the slogan to carry on is a great reminder when I’m bogged down somewhere around page 378.This tin sign measures about 8” x 12”. It is bright red with white logo and letters. There are four holes pre-drilled in the corners to make installation easy.This is a replica of the original WWII signs. At first glance, it looks fairly similar, closer inspection shows that the crown at the top is not the original graphic. The WWII era signs sported a crown motif based on one of the British crowns. The crown on this sign does not resemble that crown, but the large cross on top of the crown on this sign is evocative of some of the British crowns.This is a nice, lightweight tin sign, perfect for indoor our outdoor use.

I was attracted to this sign immediately due to the resolve in that simple message that helped end WWII. It is not an exact reproduction of the WWII poster, of course, but a modern graphics take on it. What can you say about this standard tin sign except "total respect"? The guests in your room who don't know the back-story will ask you, which makes it even more valuable. The price is an amazing value compared to other collectible tin signs.
