It works flawlessly with my charger, and there’s no interference with the Z Flip 6’s reverse charging feature either. I was in the market for a slim, stylish case that also functioned as a stand, and I found Pitaka. And while it doesn't have a built-in kickstand, it has the flexibility to add the functionality with a ring. Initially, I thought this might be a drawback, but instead I think I prefer it and the case, overall does not dissappoint. Initially, I purchased it in “Moonrise” (blue) but later decided to double down with “Sunrise” (brown hues), which is the focus of this review. However, I’ll also include a side-by-side comparison for both options. First the positives: * Slim * Lightweight * Grippy - Much more grippy than other silicone cases I've had * Magsafe - more on this below * Easy on/off that does not seem to impact the case (details below) Highlights: Installation: Simple. Pitaka also offers rewards through their app, but you’ll need to scan the case’s serial number via NFC. Good luck finding the serial number – I couldn’t! Charging Compatibility: Works seamlessly with Qi chargers (see video). I also tested it with a MagSafe charger at the Apple Store, and it worked flawlessly. Though I don’t have a MagSafe charger at home, this case is fully compatible with them. Pitaka even offers some great ones if you’re in the market. And if you live with iPhone users, you can easily borrow their MagSafe chargers. Protection: While it’s not built for major drops, it’s more than capable of handling everyday oopsies. To get serious protection, you will need to go for a much bulkier case, but that is not ideal for most folk's incentives when purchasing a flip phone, which is a smaller footprint. his case strikes the perfect balance between slim design and adequate protection for normal use. I also bought the Moonrise ring, primarily as a kickstand. It’s sturdy, snaps on and off magnetically, and rotates to the angle you need. I didn’t get one in Sunrise, but now I wish I had, as the match would look even better. The ring is a bit heavy, but I prefer the durability over something flimsy that might break. I’ll attach a video showing this in action soon. Now for the drawbacks - there are not a lot and nothing major: * Slight movement: The case can shift slightly, especially at the top, even with adhesives. It’s minor, and it never falls off – just a bit of wiggle. Limited style choices. Pricey: Especially when you start adding accessories like MagSafe chargers and rings. No hinge protection: If you’re buying this case, you probably already know that. Personally, I think phone manufacturers have vastly improved hinge durability in recent years. Sure, hinge protectors exist, but they add bulk and create a bump when the phone’s open. I’m fine without it, and I think most will be too. A fantastic case that delivers on both form and function.

This is an absolutely excellent case. I found that with every case I've ever had, I would take it off because I didn't like how it felt. Even "slim" cases were just too thick. This case actually improves how it feels, because it actually rounds the corners a bit. I love how I can keep the feel of my phone, but also have a layer of protection. Granted, it isn't as much protection as an otterbox, but it still keeps it from getting dinged up. The Second thing I want to talk about is the magsafe capability. Its pretty good. Even with the extremely thin layer of metal on the inside, it still grips on pretty well. Something to take into consideration, however, is where its placed. Rather than on other phones where the wireless charging coil is in the middle, the flip series has it on the bottom half, which is understandable, but if your charger has a fairly weak magnet strength, I would imagine you might run into the issue of the phone rotating. So far the case has stood up very well. Ive dropped my phone a couple of times and it completely absorbed the impact Overall, this is a must buy for those of us who HATE thick cases. If you have the money, I would 100% recommend this case.

I've been using my Pitaka z flip 6 case for about 2 weeks, and I love it. It's a minimal case, so it adds very little bulk to the phone, which I feel is the major reason for owning the flip. I did drop it once on a hard surface, and both the phone and case came through with flying colors. I purchased the moonrise case. It is quite attractive, and to me is seems to be more appealing the longer I own it. It is not a fingerprint magnet, and has a very nice texture, which allows for a good grip. It is magsafe compatible, which enables it to attach very firmly to my car phone holder. It does not work loose even on some of the cobblestone streets here in charleston. The case is, also, cover screen protector friendly. I enjoy swapping my cases, so I have not activated the adhesive strip. The case snaps on securely, and stays in place with out it, yet removes easily. As you can see from the photos the cutout are perfect.

Great phone case! My only complaint is that I wish the magnets were stronger but they work as intended. I like the carbon fiber look. Unfortunately the z flip 6 I bought from Amazon has a giant scratch that this case doesn't hide which is unfortunate. It's pretty easy to install, has descent grip, doesn't interfere with the button layout, and is pretty thin! My only complaints are that I wish it would have better magnetic strength, and would extend maybe a little more to cover the back of the phones where the hinges are exposed

This case checks almost all the boxes for me. Great build quality/fitment, premium look/feel, good price compared to other aramid cases, and feels close to caseless in the hand. I really only have two gripes. Those being that the case isn't as grippy as I'd prefer and there's no cover screen protector included.
