I got this to use in my garage as a typical workbench, but we have also found a great use for it in our kitchen to help us meal prep.The top is a nice surface that has a fairly nice finish.Mine however was scuffed during shipping so there are a couple spots I have to treat.It is a great size, is very sturdy and has some great features.The height is adjustable so it can be used with a shorter stool or chair, and then raised up as needed for standing or bar stool height.There is an integrated power strip with 4 power plugs and 2 USB charging ports so you can use your tools or charge your phone, tablet, bluetooth speaker etc.So far this bench has been used for crafting, electronics repair including as a nice soldering station, and as I mentioned, kitchen prep.It is just so useful, I wish I had one of these years ago, and I would like to get another, so I have one to keep in the garage and another in the house.Overall, just a great workbench, and I say if you have been looking for something similar, grab one!

This workbench may not be as sturdy as the industrial cross-braced benches I typically use, but it is light enough that I carried it up to my second-floor renovation-project workshop despite a bad shoulder. The maximum height is around 36 inches and the legs can be shortened, which is great for carrying it back down the stairs. The top is about ¾” thick of jointed wood, adequate for light-duty work, with some defects in the finish that do not affect my use.I used a drill-driver for assembly, taking care not to over-torque the bolts. Most of the bolts are included in a bag (along with a great thin wrench for tightening the casters to the legs), but some bolts are used to secure parts for shipping. The assembly was straight-forward; I did not tighten any of the bolts until I had the legs and cross-panel bolted loosely in place. I did have trouble with a few threads on the lower legs: I used the driver to run a bolt in and out to clean up the threads before running in the knurled knob. There are extra bolts, washers, and even an extra knurled knob.I do like the caster-locking design, which not only locks the wheel from rolling but also prevents it from swiveling. I plan on slipping a wood panel through the upper legs to rest on the cross-ties for a tool shelf. While I have no intention of testing it with 2000 pounds, the bench does support 200 pounds without qualms.
