Sanrenmu7046 Folding Knife multifunction tools knife Aluminum Handle EDC pocket folding knife(7046LTX-LPR-T3)

I already owned the Sanrenmu 7010LUC-SA 710 knife so I expected a similar build quality in this model. Was left just as impressed as the my other highly rated knife from this company. These knives offer a less tactical look which is good in public settings.

I bought this knife out of curiosity when Amazon showed it to me while searching for another. For $20 it's a great utility knife and the quality is top notch for the price category. Nice mirror polish and asymmetric grind on a chisel tipped blade that is begging me to scrape something with it. No blade play, good lock up and centering. On washers, so not the smoothest, but action is fine though it doesn't drop shut. Comes with clip installed for tip down carry (where it rides inconspicuously low) but can be swapped on the same side for tip up carry (where it rides higher than I would like, especially considering that the glass breaker tip sticks out). As installed, the thumb plate is annoying to use but you can flip it around and it catches much better (is flipped in my pics). T6 throughout, except for the T8 pivot screw. Love the color scheme but beware the slippery aluminum scales. Not sure how much all use all the "extras" except for the bottle opener 🍺For reference, I have shown this knife with a Civivi Elementum and my hand is a woman's small.This would make an inexpensive gift for a young person, a good beater knife, or just something different if you're itching for a new knife in the budget category. TL;DR: buy it!

I really wanted to like this little pocketknife, but the feature that I would end up using the most, the bottle opener, is so poorly designed that it takes 5-6 prying attempts to remove a single cap. The blade, while impressively sharp, came with a visible wave in it. Not sure what most of the other features are for as it came with no instructions.

If you like unique medium to small pocket knives, you will most likely appreciate this knife. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another in a different color. Sanrenmu does it again!
